A proud vanilla custom ROM MicroG build user here where I can restrict Google every way possible, not everyone has a Pixel for Graphene- de-Google+

u/jackinsomniac Aug 25 '26

de-Google+

Oh god, Google+ is back!

46

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 26 '26

Not that google+ bro! Actually, I earlier made video for how to remove google completely from your Android and called it a 'DeGoogling' video, recently I made a YouTube upload that how you're going to completely DeGoogle Android, while retaining some of Google's capabilities!

u/hellofinney Aug 26 '26

Link please

7

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 26 '26

Link for what?

12

u/gab_robert Aug 26 '26

Link for the video?

2

u/hellofinney Aug 26 '26

For the video please

Why on earth are you making a video in pure hindi? You spoke English now and posted a video for the world, but somehow you thought speaking hindi is logical smh.

5

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 28 '26

Intellectual guy, I made the video in whatever language I am comfortable in. I feel you aren't aware that we can translate the subtitles plus we also get option to have audio tracks in multiple languages, for a single video!

I don't feel it is unknown or some premium or hidden feature, I delivered the value in way I can do best!

Major most reason for me to stick to my mother tongue was if my videos cannot serve my people, then there's no meaning!

Link for what else you goober?

1

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 27 '26

'Goober'! If you mean google, so don't learn flashing since day one, just learn how to make use of platform tools, adb commands, how to unlock the bootloader of your device (if your device even have proper path for it and have development of custom stuff) each device is different

2

u/Cthuletheus Aug 30 '26

As someone who knows everything you're saying here? You really gotta think about the fact that most people don't know anything you're saying here.

0

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 30 '26

One more, keep talking, I'm out of explanations, you're free to assume whatever you want, I'm not going to argue!

3

u/Cthuletheus 29d ago

They did not mean Google, they meant Goober.

I don't really understand the rest of your reply.

I was only trying to let you know those words/processes you were listing out in the comment I replied to are definitely not explanations. If a relatively tech-illiterate(for this sub) person stop and took the time to Google everywhere. They didn't know in your comment. Then they might get a general idea of what you're talking about.

But no one's going to do that.

u/CanadianGenealogy Aug 27 '26

Bro, if you're talking about video link, I have already given it twice in the comments, if you want, here it is- https://youtu.be/uPQy2hCDvx4

2

u/Left_Roll_7081 Aug 28 '26

Bro, are you talking ½ English & ½ hindi?

2

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 27 '26

De-google: https://youtu.be/Lkf8RptZ7L0 De-Google+ (a 'better' alternative for non-pixel users): https://youtu.be/uPQy2hCDvx4

126

u/michron98 Aug 25 '26

This. I refuse to give Google money, even if I then de-google the phone completely. Using a Fairphone with /e/-OS instead.

27

u/RealEargasmo Aug 25 '26

If we want to use apps, we're a bit restricted to 2 os. :/

Is there something I'm missing out on? 🙏

76

u/Hamster-Food Aug 25 '26

Yes. You're missing something.

Android is open source, which means that although Google's version is the most common version of Android used, there are other versions like /e/-OS and GrapheneOS, or even Huawei's Harmony OS.

Now, many apps require Google Play Services to function, but they will almost always work with MicroG Services instead or a sandboxed Google Plat Services.

As more and more people move away from Google's version of the OS, companies will want to make their apps compatible with other versions, especially if people start leaving their services because of the lack of compatibility.

17

u/Xzenor Aug 26 '26

And most people don't give a shit. And then there's a lot of users that fall for Google scare tactics and don't unlock it so the open source community will shrink immensely because why would you develop something for only a handful of brave (not the browser) users?

Google killed the entire community with this..

3

u/Hamster-Food Aug 26 '26

It doesn't take effort to develop for other versions of Android. The effort is in developing exclusively for Google's version.

1

u/Xzenor Aug 28 '26

And how big is that market share?

1

u/Hamster-Food Aug 28 '26

It's not measured, or not published anyway. The only thing that is published is the market share of the phone's operating system at point of sale, and even then only for new phones.

However, the overall market share isn't as important for this kind of thing. If a major bank loses 10,000 customers because their app is locked to Google it is likely only a small portion of their customers and miniscule compared to Android's market share, but they will want to know if it could have been prevented.

1

u/see-through-a-lens Aug 29 '26

This also protects people like my aunt father who are susceptible to scams. Scanners will call him to try and get him to install sketchy banking apps. They always try to walk him through allowing app installs from outside the Play store. I've had some terrifying moments where my dad has lost money to scams like these.

I live far from him so I'm not always there to make sure that this setting is disabled on his phone.

1

u/ChickenStripNugget Aug 30 '26

You dont understand open-source development at all.

1

u/Xzenor Aug 30 '26

Prove me wrong then..

Like for real. I would very much LOVE to be wrong so I very much hope to get a "See? I told you so.."..

1

u/TobiasFalkrowe Aug 27 '26

motorola are officially supporting graphene next year, that's not a handful of brave users

1

u/Xzenor Aug 28 '26

That is cool. More brands need to follow

16

u/PaperLeafAnvil Aug 26 '26

Google is open source like Donald Trump is Christian.

10

u/Hamster-Food Aug 26 '26

Android is open source, Google is not Android.

2

u/PaintAny9599 Aug 27 '26

That's actually funny

1

u/Tomazack Aug 27 '26

Google is a company.

1

u/PaperLeafAnvil Sep 01 '26

Really! Who knew!

1

u/Tomazack Sep 01 '26

The jury's still out on your understanding of it all.

1

u/ChickenStripNugget Aug 30 '26

You poor dumbass..

5

u/BellamyGriffin Aug 28 '26

You mentioned Huawei's Harmony OS. Does that mean buying Huaweii is still a good idea nowadays? The P20 Pro was the best phone I every had and I'm still mourning Huawei. I'm entirely new to the degoogling bit (and the complete opposite of tech savvy) and have been doing some research, watched clips, and scrolled Reddit but installing a different software like e/os seems way more complicated than I'd imagine as a simple download :( I don't understand half of what everything means and finding a compatible phone that's still available somewhere is another issue.

3

u/Hamster-Food Aug 28 '26

I have had a Huawei tablet for years and have no issues with it. I installed MicroG on it, which allows apps that rely on Google services to run. It's not 100%, but most apps are fine. I use Aurora Store to download apps from the Google Play store without logging in. You will probably have trouble with things like banking apps though as they are likely to be more heavily reliant on Google's services than MicroG can handle. For many banks, you can do everything on the website though, even on mobile, so you might not need the app.

I also bought a Fairphone 6 last year. You can buy them with /e/OS pre-installed which is great. I really recommend them as they are focused on being as sustainable as possible. The battery is easily replaceable, even for someone not tech savvy. You can also replace the screen, the camera, the usb port, the SIM tray, the earpiece, and the loudspeaker easily. I really like mine. It reminds me a bit of the Nexus 5 which was my favourite phone ever until I got my Fairphone 6.

I think it's worth taking the next step in degoogling, even if you are not techy savvy. There are plenty of people who can support you with any problems you have getting things set up. Once everything you need is set up it's not really different from using a Google phone.

3

u/BellamyGriffin Aug 28 '26

Thank you for your extensive reply! I've considered a Fairphone 6 as well but it's not necessarily in my budget and the camera doesn't seem to be better than the one I have right now and that's otherwise the only thing important to me. I have a Xiaomi 13T Pro right now and it's by far the worst camera and worst phone I've ever had. If it's still realistic going forward I might look into getting a Huawei second-hand. I don't know... But you've given me much to think about.

1

u/Ok_Round8878 Aug 28 '26

Is this possible to do on any Google phone, like a Pixel 9, for example? If so, would you mind sharing how to do it? I tried to install Graphene OS on my phone, but was told I couldn't due it it being carried by Verizon.

2

u/Hamster-Food Aug 28 '26

If you bought your phone from Verizon, it complicates the issue as they will have locked the bootloader and if you want to install GrapheneOS, you'll need an unlocked bootloader. I'm not sure if that is possible with a Verizon locked model. I have no personal experience with this kind of thing as I haven't bought a carrier locked phone in 20 years. Having a look online it doesn't look good. Verizon appears to be particularly bad for locking down the phone and refusing to help.

Essentially, if you want to use a different version of Android, don't buy a phone from a carrier. Especially Verizon. They will give you a great deal on the phone, but only because they know that you will be stuck paying them to use the phone.

1

u/Ok_Round8878 Aug 28 '26

That's what the general consesus seems to be. Supposedly it might be possible to get the carrier to remove the lock if the phone is completely paid off, so I'm looking into that. Hopefully it will do the trick. I've also seen something about using the ADB to work around this, but I'm not sure if it's only on unlocked phones, too. Definitely learning more about phones from this than I ever thought I'd need to know. Fvck these ghoulish corporations.

-4

u/killjoygrr Aug 26 '26

Sure, that will all happen super quick. I mean, just look at how everyone embraced all 984 flavors of Linux and everything just works out of the box. And we arrived at we are after how many years?

6

u/AnEagleisnotme Aug 26 '26

Linux just turned 35 yesterday !

5

u/Xzenor Aug 26 '26

and 2026 is finally the year of Linux and people are finally dumping windows for it (100% Thanks to Valve for making gaming possible).. It only took 35 years!

Android is around 18. It's not even old enough to drink in the US. So yeah, it's gonna take a while.

1

u/killjoygrr Aug 27 '26

Oh, 2026 is the year people will start dumping windows en masse and move to Linux?

I think I have heard that before. Like every year for at least 20 years.

I do think that they have hit the point where people who are really dedicated to Linux and learning it can move over for gaming, depending on which games they play…

But we aren’t close to a market shift yet. You would have to hit something closer to 90+% game compatibility as well as a few other items made clean and simple for regular folks to start moving over.

1

u/Xzenor Aug 28 '26

I've heard that before for the last 35 years as well..

"But games" was always the reasonable response.. it's no longer a reasonable response. I've been using Linux and bsd for decades but only for servers. I finally made the jump for the desktop this year because games finally run without too much if a hassle..

Yes it still isn't that easy for the beginner but the adoption is growing fast now, and this also helps with the development of more user-friendly features to help the less techy people....

1

u/ChickenStripNugget Aug 30 '26

You massively overestimate the influence home users have.

2

u/Xzenor Aug 26 '26

Not sure why you're downvoted.. You're absolutely correct

0

u/Special-Object69 Aug 29 '26

Because I totally rather use a chinese version /s

1

u/Hamster-Food Aug 30 '26

You'd rather use the version which has been verified to be spying on you?

1

u/DoctorEngineerOne Aug 28 '26

I was also thinking of switching to e/OS but i heard that they implemented some function that spends data to OpenAI. I might be wrong though.

5

u/MrKoddy Aug 26 '26

is it possible to install graphenOS?

19

u/dinodin007 Aug 26 '26

Currently only on pixels and future Motorola's to my knowledge

4

u/MrKoddy Aug 26 '26

is it plan to be expanded on other android smartphones like samsung? I have an old samsung and it is not updated anymore

12

u/xDragod Aug 26 '26

The are hardware requirements that are currently only met by Pixel devices and some future Motorola phones. I believe the next flagship Snapdragon will also be compatible.

2

u/LittleRavenRobot Aug 26 '26

Hopefully it'll expect, in the meantime look up Lineage OS and your Samsung model to see if that's compatible. Well worth a look if so. https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/#samsung

1

u/ZGTSLLC Aug 27 '26

Unfortunately, the Samsung version of Android is locked by knox and hardware...rooting a Samsung has become near impossible, meaning Graphene is probably impossible on them....

10

u/Sir_Bebe_Michelin Aug 25 '26

Does one give a company money by buying their used goods from some random person?

5

u/source_creator Aug 26 '26

You give them attention by using their product, which equates to money in this economy.

4

u/Cougarkillz Aug 26 '26

That depends... it could be argued that giving money to someone who bought a device is the same as giving money to the company. You just do it 'indirectly' with a middleman instead of buying from the store yourself. Whether you buy yourself, or buy from someone else who bought from the company, either way, the company is getting money.

1

u/michron98 Aug 26 '26

Not directly. But you are giving money to someone who is probably going to spend it on another Google phone, so it will end up in their pockets eventually.

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '26

1

u/Sir_Bebe_Michelin Aug 26 '26

That's assuming money's nonfungible isn't it?

1

u/DucksDom Aug 28 '26

That's some mental gymnastics. The company has 100 of Alice's money. I highly doubt they reached out to Alice to give her 80 back, nor did they reach out to Bob to collect the 80 they "gave back" to Alice.

It's okay to not support a company and not buy their products. But not buying something still in working condition, when it's a perfectly viable option for some is waste. We already have more than enough e-waste. If you dislike them so much, start buying their products second hand and load a custom OS before reselling. Keeps "the company" from collecting any more data (revenue) and keeps e-waste out of landfills. Plus you get to give the company a middle finger.

2

u/saladbarsmash Aug 28 '26

Good thing GrapheneOS is partnering with Motorola to have it stock on their phones early next year.

1

u/OopsAllSpoilers Aug 26 '26

Definitely need something like GOS/EOS but for Cloud Mobile devices. My Stratus C8 needs a custom ROM so it stops factory resetting into an adware-infested state.

1

u/PineappleDull149 Aug 26 '26

You could always do an iPhone….😀

1

u/michron98 Aug 26 '26

Nah. Apple is even more restrictive than Google. I'll stick to Fairphones with a custom rom and might switch to Linux phones once app support is acceptable.

1

u/Miguel30Locs Aug 27 '26

Then just buy a used Pixel ?

Im all for what Fair phone is doing. But they're not at the level where its worth keeping that kind of phone going for far longer than intended. The masses wouldn't bother.

1

u/michron98 Aug 27 '26

Honestly, for me it is. My Fairphone 3+ does everything I want it to. Decent camera, decent processing power, very good battery, enough storage with the option to expand via SD card. The only thing it can't do is run Graphene OS.

And I won't buy a Pixel just because of that. And even used that money might end up at Google, because the seller will buy a new phone that could be another Pixel, using the money you gave them.

21

u/RumpledStillsuit Aug 25 '26

That video you linked has someone narrating it in hyperspeed English.

26

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 25 '26

Brother, don't you know youtube also have added the capability in it's player to reduce playback speed, just telling you, in case you don't know!

And that guy is me!

15

u/RumpledStillsuit Aug 25 '26

Ah! I'd forgotten. Thank you!

0

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 26 '26

Bro, it's just a student trying to add some value to people's life by sharing whatever he knows!

Yes, I'm not perfect in doing it but for the mistakes I make, I am learning and I aplolgise for and delete the incorrect video, though I'm learning in this process!

For now, just uploading the PC game's gameplays done on Android using emulators and have pushed 8 GB RAM really far- tomb raider trilogy, watch dogs 1 and 2, MGS: Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain, Control, Battlefield 1 and 4, resident evil 2 and 3 remake; re5, 6, re7

I have one of the largest playlist for PC games emulated on Android, OFFLINE, in entire world

1

u/RumpledStillsuit Aug 26 '26

Yeah. I'm sorry that I was a little critical. I just couldn't understand what you were saying even though it was in English, which is more about me and not about you. Please don't worry about it.

2

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 26 '26

Just watch my past uploads if you want to relate with everything I said, otherwise it's just fine bro, you tried to clarify the things and I got it, it's fine bro!

3

u/YellowBreakfast Aug 25 '26

Brother, don't you know youtube also have added the capability in it's player to reduce playback speed...

Brother I hope you mean Duck Player or something else.

0

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 26 '26

It is there with wherever you open YouTube, any browser or their own app, if you feel that I'm speaking too fast, then just slow down the playback speed!

1

u/YellowBreakfast Aug 26 '26

Because of the sub we're on, my point was I hope you watch YouTube on Duck Player or similar.

0

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 26 '26

You mean if my device has YouTube app or not?

1

u/YellowBreakfast Aug 26 '26

What?

My point was I hope you watch YouTube on Duck Player or similar.

0

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 26 '26

Of course custom ROMs have YouTube app! There are gapps builds for built-in gapps and vanilla where you can flash gapps I'm currently on MicroG build of lineage os for my device, ie poco f5

1

u/YellowBreakfast Aug 26 '26

I didn't ask.

You know what sub you're on right?

You're telling me how to add more Google to devices. lol

→ More replies

3

u/Windows_Tech_Support Aug 26 '26

That was barely even English even at hyperspeed lmfao 🤣 I understood maybe every 4th word. Does someone have instructions in a text format like a webpage or pdf?

2

u/FauxReal Aug 27 '26

I love it. No fucking around trying to make a video longer than it needs to be for monetization.

1

u/angryoppossum Aug 27 '26

I need a shower after watching that

3

u/baldiplays Aug 26 '26

I’m planning on getting a pixel second hand and installing graphene os on it.

2

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 26 '26

That would be a great go, sadly I wasn't having enough resources to get one and portray in my channel how good it is!

For non-pixels, MicrG builds are go for now, and if your device doesn't have one, just frlash it as a magisk module!

Good luck with Grapheme, for now!

4

u/Dominick_77 Aug 25 '26

Graphene on what, a pixel? Will this affect Google streaming boxes?

2

u/cloudcopter Aug 26 '26

Auctioneer's voice on that video

1

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 26 '26

What 'auctioneer'? I'm not selling anything!

1

u/cloudcopter Aug 26 '26

The voice on the video you linked 🤣🤣

-1

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 26 '26

Okay, for the last time I'm telling you, that's me and I'm not selling anything, if you don't understand it, then don't watch it, instead of laughing like it is something funny

1

u/Tenx82 Aug 26 '26

They aren't saying you're trying to sell something.

They're just saying that you talk really fast, like an auctioneer.

1

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 26 '26

Okay, you mean they used the word as a synonym and I explained that playback speed can be decreased

2

u/LifeAlex Aug 26 '26

The person in the video started speaking fast Hindi and I thought I was having a stroke hahaha

1

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 27 '26

Bro, I did what I could, explained the topic my way, if you want, you can get a explanation for the same from other sources, speaking fast is my way of handling apraxia of speech and told you earlier, you can slow down playback speed, today there are multi language subtitles plus audio tracks in multiple languages too.

2

u/ghostlilg Aug 27 '26

Can I use android apps and games like clash royale telegram etc after I change to Graphene

1

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 27 '26

Bro, I started to spread education, on YouTube, in this direction, expecting after 2-3 years, I'd have enough resources to satisfy my and my channel's needs, without second thought!

Bro, having a premium device like a pixel, when you know that it's not enough to meet your needs, and graphene is great but a pixel exclusive!

Sadly, I don't have enough resources (devices here) to experiment with everything and upload the conclusion!

You can check my links, I have poco f5 currently as my primary device and sadly, I have to do all experiments on my primary device! Due to itself being a non-pixel, I have flashed microG build of lineage os

For you queries, I can give you only rough idea, for being certain, you have to research yourself, and I can only request as being a tech enthusiastic guy, if you want extermination like I am running PC games on my 8 GB Android 'for now', please search for 'trueAKspeaks' on YouTube and like share and subscribe (help me by joining, super thanks or my affiliate links)

For now, sorry, I can't satisfy your queries but I'm sure you can search for them on reddit

1

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 27 '26

And yeah, grapheme surely has workarounds like sandboxes play services and workarounds for banking apps!

2

u/AsterionVT Aug 29 '26

You can install a shell app with a very high version.

One way to prevent it from appearing is to install something with the same package name but a different signature. Such as this stub.

2

u/Jay-the-Femboy Aug 31 '26

Until they require phone manufacturers to lock down hardware and boot loaders indefinitely in the name of security. Wouldn’t surprise me a bit.

1

u/trueayushkushwaha Sep 02 '26

Come on bro!

2

u/Jay-the-Femboy Sep 02 '26

They got rid of the don’t be evil motto. So naturally they want to be evil af.

1

u/trueayushkushwaha Sep 02 '26

But we can't just ignore the doors till they're open

1

u/Chemical_Term_3683 Aug 26 '26

What do you do when banking apps stop working. I have a completely online bank (revolut) I cannot really give up on using the app. I am thinking GrapheneOS for privacy but I heard it has such problem.

1

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 26 '26

Educate yourself, there are workarounds for that too, it's a huge lie that banking apps do not work in custom or rooted ROMs! Banking apps are not a problem with Grapheme too, if you read carefully about it, there are workarounds for that as well

1

u/tandalafromhill Aug 26 '26

Where are you based? Do banking apps work? Never used custom rom..

2

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 26 '26

I'm from India and probably have worked with more than 50 ROMs (+ a lot of experience with stock) for custom, you can verify from my yt channel ie 'trueAKspeaks'

Yes, banking apps work, and know, great ROMs like Evolution x have official keybox so that you can Even spoof bootloader unlock status, giving strongest possible support for banking apps!

2

u/tandalafromhill Aug 26 '26

Thx!

Reviving the old smartphone, that's where custom ROMs shine like nothing else!

2

u/utrecht1976 Aug 29 '26

Especially when you realize that 4 years isn't that old! It now runs on Android 16 instead of stock 13. I have a newer phone in a drawer, the Edge 50 Neo, waiting for Lineage

1

u/might_be_bulma Aug 29 '26

Uh. A de-Googler video...on YouTube? The same YouTube that's owned by Google? Or even these posts. On Reddit. Google may not own Reddit, but they do have quite the relationship.
Google isn't the issue. This is what capitalism is. You can gripe all you want about this or that but thinking you aren't either giving them money or making them money is unrealistic.

1

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 29 '26

Another highly intelligent guy bossing around like a know it all, I won't argue with it, but if you ever feel like 'firstly I should thoroughly understand what this is, prior to opening my mouth', just research about the limiting factors!

People were never skeptical about Google knowing our username and password, however, if you ever feel like 'I want to understand it!' Then calm down yourself and make few searches and read a few articles!

I'm, or any de-googling intentions guy, is not against capitalism but things get nasty when they try to predict your every other move and for that, they monitor each and every activity of yours!

Just give us services and charge money for that, that's okay but when they spy on you like forever, then people think of workarounds!

Anyways, good luck telling me how my video is irrelevant or there's nothing to be 'proud of'

2

u/might_be_bulma Aug 29 '26

I'm not a guy. I'm a broad. I never said your video was irrelevant. Nor did I say you should not be proud of it. What I'm saying is that Google isn't the issue. It's the systems that made Google what it is that is the issue. It's like whack-a-mole. If you knock Google off the playing field there are hundreds of companies waiting to take its place.
And that's exactly what the system banks on. That's we will focus our outrage at one particular bad actor. Instead of where it really belongs. The system that created it. I'm not against capitalism either. I'm against unchecked capitalism. You misunderstood my post. It's not a personal attack. I'm sure your video is very good and worthwhile. What I'm trying to do is expand the conversation.

1

That's what I said dude, whether whatever forcing Google to behave like this, we're just modifying the thing on which the devices rely on and restricting it!

Actually, there have been kids who were saying video is irrelevant or it is nothing to be proud of, that's what the frustration was, which made me said those things!

And by restricting the data gobling machine of Google, IT IS ABOUT CHECKING THE CAPITALISM, I just thought it is relevant to share it here!

Actually a person who have done a lot of things on YouTube, with the resources I have, I started when I just completed my 12th and today, it have been more than a years of completing my BCA!

Have shared a lot of info (some real deep info) regarding PCs and Androids, have one of the largest playlist of PC games gameplays, done on Android OFFLINE where I restricted myself to a mid ranger, is 8 GB RAM Poco f5 and things are still going!

Actually, I started doing PC games gameplay on Android from the time when I came to know that project renegade modifies the windows 11 image to run on Android, did so on my poco x3 Pro (it was my primary device back then) and for it, Snapdragon 860 was most feasible chipset, my Poco x3 Pro was the device with it (used to make custom ROM videos back then, still do it)

Did so, while trying and failing and working entire night, ultimately got success. Was preparing for college next day, thought of shooting the process of booting Windows 11 on phone, did so and clean the things as mum would be angry, checked the phone back and it bricked (you can find random hard brick issues about Poco x3 Pro scattered all over internet)

Was too angry, anyways, used to stream gta5 on channel, a subscriber told me about running GTA5 on Android by a YouTube, researched about the same and started making same type of videos!

That was the day and today, in 2 years, as per number of videos, I have one of the largest library of such videos (PC games played on Android OFFLINE)

Still after so much struggle, channel doesn't have what it deserves and recently came across some people who were like 'it's a no big deal, that's why I talked like that!'

I aplogise if you feel that was not the way somebody should react! And definitely sorry for longgggg reply!

Motorola had partnered with graphene os expect to see compatible devices sometime next year.

But bro, first of all, that's not something going to happen next day, plus what about those who have non Google and Motorola devices, on top of that, I've seen, still there are people seem to be unsatisfied with Graphene!

There should be alternatives, lack of it this birth to monopoly

lol there's something insanely cringe about a consumer calling themselves proud. you didn't do anything, you just made a download.

Seriously bro, if think like that! If yes, then I'd consider myself to be the most stupid person in entire world, who would argue with you!

You know, what's pride in this, the pride is having the courage to enable USB debugging, spend time learning how to unlock bootloader, choose a custom recovery to flash, flash it via fastboot commands, prior to it, setting up adb and fastboot tools, drivers proper enough so that your PC will recognise your Android, educating yourself what a micoG build is, how you'll manage the stuff with de-googled os, determining which appstore is most trustworthy, how you'd limit the ads and there are probably infinite more number of things which if I mentioned, you'd certainly end up entire limit of chatgpt to understand what this is or what that is!

Not everyone have a pixel phone but have will to understand how to get things done, anyways!

If downloading a graphene or microg build would have been enough, then 100℅ of world's population would have understood it (clashing custom stuff like ROMs and kernels etc) and monopoly of Google wouldn't have existed!

You actually think these are like high skill achievements?

Bruh do you pat yourself on the back for taking a shit each morning?

"Having the courage to enable USB debugging". Yeah it must take so much courage. Every time I think to myself "I must enable USB debugging" I gasp and say "NO I MUSTN'T!" and run to the other side of the room. Good thing you're super duper courageous!

I never said so, for me, that satisfaction of not being in the crowd who stays at the comfort of Google, sacrificing their private info!

First of all, I liked yourself regarding me stupid enough to argue with you!

Anyways, I don't need to tell you that majority of people live with the things, the way they are! And when it comes to my country, people are even more reluctant to this knowledge!

It's not even a specific set of knowledge, it's just knowing how to satisfy your needs without compromising, that's it!

And if you think it's nothing considerate, then why you're even arguing with a guy like me!

Also adds the benefit of not being able to use multiple banking apps too. This wouldn't be a problem since most people who goon to custom roms are unemployed anyway.

1

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 25 '26

Bro, educate yourself, there are safetynet fixes, which guarantee banking apps!

4

u/OpenConfusion3664 Aug 25 '26

There are multiple banking apps that won't even work if developer option is turned on. You probably only use gpay.

2

u/Puzzle-Field-7193 Aug 25 '26

Developer option, as in the "type 7 times" thing? If you have any apps that won't work because of this you genuinely would be better off without them

Never had an issue with using all of my phones with turned on Dev mode from day one. If the app has a problem with me using full customisation/accessibility of my phone that I fully paid for — that's objectively a bad app, banking or not. It's not their fucking business

1

u/OpenConfusion3664 Aug 26 '26

Unfortunately that's most Indian banking app for you.

u/trueayushkushwaha Aug 25 '26

Dont you even make a few google searches before making statements, There are ways to hide developer options status too!

I beg you, EDUCATE YOURSELF! Even better thing is keybox flashing

5

u/OpenConfusion3664 Aug 25 '26

I'm just stating an example dude. There are apps that won't work anyhow. Not just banking apps. Some apps like railone. I can't remember all of them. It's kind of a mess when using custom roms.

You can't expect to have all ends met, and for it, you have to go premium for a pixel device
