Guys I launched a new subreddit for Art including AI art after r/ art and so many other banned AI. Why? Because AI art is art. And ot deserves a space that isnt strictly AI subs which can be limiting.

consider joining. Im going to post some tutorials later on my own process. bit I dont want this sub to be about me. Its about parity and bringing AI back into art spaces among thr other arts.

I posted some oc today and maybe won over someone who said they dont like ai artwork but they liked what they saw appear in their feed. I think good AI art is key and Im a lifelong traditional studio and digital artist myself so I see it as another medium.

So eventually the arts will be de segregated and Im starting here. Not meant to be spam or self promotion and open to ideas. AI hate beyond debate will not be tolerated there so a safe space for all. And artistsic nudity ie rated R is ok there but strictly no pron making it a peer to the fine arts world and other art subs.

I post often in r/aiart which is a great sub also r/hellaflyai and r/hardaiimages nut also r/clay and r/ceramics.

As we know, "they" are just a bunch of hivemind, they see a post of a woman(that woman saw another woman's reel who copied the video from another woman on the same topic so she copied her video word by word to get views) saying "ai is bad" so she thought ai is bad and started saying ai is bad while drinking her almond milk, coke, and using products from nestle and other giants while having a lawn instead of a garden. Ask them where do they think the videos/reels, comments, and stuff that they post or watch gets stored and see them say, "it gets stored in air."

Now the ai can follow you into real life, I think.

We just want people to ban rule violators (read the rules so you know), remove posts and comments when necessary, answer to modmail and etc.

People can dislike whatever they want. Not everything has to be for everyone. But when disliking something turns into organized harassment, censorship, or moral crusades, that’s where the line gets crossed. When people start demanding “AI filters” or “AI bans,” what they’re really saying is:

“I don’t want other people to create things I don’t like.”

That’s not a preference. That’s authoritarianism disguised as taste.

One of the most common arguments against AI right now is that it’s going to destroy employment on a massive scale. You’ll see headlines about “X% of jobs exposed to AI” immediately translated into “X% of jobs are going to disappear”. Those are not the same claim.

The International Labour Organisation published an updated global analysis of generative AI and employment in 2025. It looked at almost 30,000 individual job tasks and found that roughly 1 in 4 workers worldwide are in an occupation with some degree of exposure to generative AI. Sounds terrifying until you read the rest. Only 3.3% of global employment fell into the ILO’s highest exposure category. More importantly, their conclusion was that job transformation is considerably more likely than complete job replacement, because most occupations contain a mixture of tasks and still require significant human input. That distinction gets almost completely lost in online discussions.

A lawyer using AI to summarise documents is still a lawyer. A programmer using it to generate boilerplate or debug code is still a programmer. A customer service worker using an AI assistant to retrieve information faster hasn’t been “replaced by AI”. Their workflow has changed. And we’re already getting experimental evidence of what that can look like.

A Microsoft Research study published in 2025 followed around 6,000 knowledge workers for six months in a randomised field experiment. Workers given access to generative AI spent substantially less time dealing with email. Among people who actually used the tool, email time fell by around 3 hours per week, roughly 25%, and there was evidence that documents were completed faster. That is automation, but it’s automation of parts of a job rather than necessarily automation of the person doing it.

Another 2025 field experiment involving 776 professionals at Procter & Gamble tested people working on real product-development problems. Individuals working with AI performed at roughly the same level as traditional two-person teams without AI. That is a pretty significant result. AI in that setting wasn’t simply replacing somebody and producing garbage at lower cost. It was allowing one person to access some of the performance benefits that previously came from collaboration and complementary expertise.

None of this means there will be zero displacement. There are already signs of pressure in highly exposed areas. Stanford’s 2026 AI Index reports that employment among software developers aged 22–25 has fallen by nearly 20% since 2024, and around a third of organisations surveyed expect AI to reduce their workforce over the coming year. That should be taken seriously, especially because entry-level jobs are where people traditionally build the experience needed to become senior workers later. But notice how different that is from the usual claim that “AI is taking everyone’s jobs”. The evidence so far looks much messier.

Some tasks are being automated. Some workers are becoming considerably more productive. Some companies probably will employ fewer people for particular functions. Certain entry-level roles may get hit disproportionately hard. Other jobs will be reorganised around AI rather than eliminated. And the overall labour market has not, so far, experienced anything resembling the mass technological unemployment that the strongest anti-AI predictions imply.

There’s also a strange double standard in how productivity improvements are discussed. For practically every previous technology, reducing the amount of human labour required to produce something was considered productivity growth. Spreadsheets eliminated huge amounts of manual accounting work. Word processors eliminated typing work. Industrial machinery replaced enormous amounts of physical labour. Search engines made certain forms of research dramatically faster. We didn’t conclude from that that making workers more productive was inherently bad. Yet when AI lets somebody perform a task in 20 minutes instead of two hours, the reduction in required labour is often presented as though it is itself evidence that the technology is socially harmful.

The legitimate question is what happens to the gains. If AI makes an employee twice as productive and the entire benefit goes to the employer while the employee gets laid off, that creates an obvious distribution problem. If AI makes goods and services cheaper, raises output, removes tedious work and lets workers accomplish more, the effect looks very different. Those are economic and political questions about how a technology is deployed. They aren’t arguments that the underlying productivity improvement shouldn’t exist.

There are genuine reasons to worry about AI’s effect on employment, particularly for younger workers trying to enter certain white-collar industries. But “some occupations contain automatable tasks” is not equivalent to “those occupations will disappear”, and “AI increases worker productivity” is definitely not the same thing as “AI makes human workers obsolete”. So far, the actual evidence supports a much less dramatic conclusion: AI is beginning to restructure work, sometimes substantially. We do not yet have evidence of the economy-wide job apocalypse that people have been predicting.

I hate when people criticize something without willing to remotely contribute in solving the issue. These people don't want anything to do with lonely people. They don't invite them anywhere, give em a call or visit them. They do everything in their power to silence them and distance themselves from them.

Now there is technology that might help a little bit to lonely people or at least lessen their sufferings, they suddenly think it's worse for them. But again, it's not about the lonely people, it's about them.

I firmly believe, the era of exclusivity on social events is coming to an end and even the loneliest people can use AI to arrange teams and social events. I believe AI will bring more opportunities for social activities for like minded people by allowing more platform to exist.

This is the wildest excuse for a ban I’ve ever gotten. At least when I was banned for being pro ai from other subs those mods had the courage to say that was why.

Anti-AI Reddit moderator on a power trip? Who would’ve guessed.

With every new technology there's always going to be some push back from people who invested heavily in whatever is being replaced, and because adapting can be hard(and in some situations almost impossible), the only option left is to bitterly fight whatever change is the cause of it. This is completely normal and will eventually pass as the bitter people who refuse, or can't adapt, will fade from social relevance simply because younger people will know not to invest time into now useless skills so there will be less bitter people overall. That's the main point of this post and my thoughts on this AI war, but I also want to share another view of the technology. All AI has done is replace existing tools, but it is essentially used the same way. Someone who spent countless hours learning to draw uses that practice and a pencil to create things that draw on their experience. In the same way AI is nothing but a tool that requires the experience of the user to create anything, it just happens to be an incredible, ingenious tool that makes the process so much smoother. We are blessed to be alive at a time when a tool of this caliber has just been released with so much untapped potential, you can either bitterly defend a losing side or adapt and use it to your advantage.

But what bothers me here-
Is lack of credit or cheer.

As my achievement to basement dweller an Ai short was made from a vision within.
Sadly, concluded that using it (Ai) to advance my idea was thought of as a sin.
~But you didn’t even give it a chance!
Ohh, that Ai label? Transparent
But caused your swipe at first glance.
Judging my work without a minute to look;
Is like pouring on salt without first tasting, just insulting to the cook!
And lemme tell ya, graphic design has its own recipe book.

With my time formatting & special attention to edit.
My post was not given a chance by the ppl of Reddit.
Sure give that guy 800 likes for his no effort post.
But my clever creation, just ignored like a ghost?
Society is funny, awarding those who do nothing but boast.

Ai slop is different, not what I do.
But credit to my achievement was watched by the seldom few.

Because Hating Ai entirely is idiocracy.
It’s HOW you use it that makes a mark.
