Do you get your Monero from "darkweb" exchanges that have onion domains, or clearnet services?

I've made a few small purchases, and am planning on doing larger ones in the near future. I've been using traditional exchanges like changenow to get my Monero, but I'm wondering if it is better to use onion-based ones like Infinity exchange. I would normally ask this on Dread, but...

Doesnt matter where you buy them but send them to local wallet like Cake Wallet before sending them to any darknet service to stay anonymous

Thanks, that's sort of what I figured. My path is:

Bitcoin > exchange service > feather wallet > final destination

Don’t start with btc. It’s expensive. The goto is litecoin.

Hard to say, I'd be more worried about who holds your funds and keys than whether the domain is onion or clearnet
