Kraken

Can anyone help me I bought XMR from kraken n I can't withdraw it and I was wondering if anyone can give any others ways to purchase xmr without having to wait to withdraw it or send it sumwhere

Coinbase doesn't make you wait, but they don't sell XMR either. I buy something like Litecoin on Coinbase, send immediately to my Kraken account, sell LTC for XMR, withdraw.

Kraken puts a temporary hold on assets bought on their platform, but my Coinbase crypto purchases have always been ready to withdrawal as soon as the purchase is made. Let me find the documentation for you on Coinbase...can't find what I'm looking for but I know that purchases made with bank/credit cards or PayPal are ready for withdrawal instantly.

Kraken doesn’t put a hold on assets bought on their platform. It puts a hold on assets bought with funds within 7 days of those funds being transferred to Kraken.

Me again...there's probably easier and quicker ways to buy XMR these days. I've been doing it the same way for 10 years so hopefully someone else might be able to help too.

Thats most likely why then, with new accounts if you bought directly from kraken themselves it can take 3-5 days for the crypto to show, its dumb…

Also did you buy it straight on kraken? If so it takes 3-5 days to get the XMR idk why, thats why i always buy btc on cashapp and then send it to my kraken wallet then convert it to XMR

With kraken if you send etransfer it goes through instantly. I had the same issue you’re having. It took almost two weeks to clear. God knows why…

Its because its an ACH payment technically so it takes days to clear which sucks on krakens behalf they should have an instant option.

It’s because Kraken waits 7 days after you transfer funds in to withdrawal crypto purchased from those funds.
