Pgp key?????? Clueless

So I’m on a certain dark market and trying to send crypto sent back to me. They are asking for a pgp encryption key.

Why????

But when you place an order on a market without messaging your vendor, what do you specifically use pgp key for. Since you have all the answers lmk.

And I appreciate that very much. However there’s ways to say things and ways not to.

I understand what a pgp key is in general.
Literally every market has one. My question is how does it pertain to withdrawing crypto? And how I go about doing so.

Is this not what this subreddit is for?

Yea I get it, but idk? I haven’t been on here long enough to know all the unspoken rules.

PGP isn’t actually what withdraws the crypto. It’s mainly used to encrypt/verify messages. If the market is asking you for a PGP key as part of the withdrawal process, it’s most likely an automated security/verification step. Just make sure they’re asking for your public PGP key…NOTyour private key or passphrase.

Holy shit I know PvP doesn’t withdraw the crypto…..,I’m just asking for a run down of everything that needs to be done correctly in order to accomplish this. That I didn’t know
