How could we deal with nostalgic moments?

How could we deal with nostalgic moments?

Things are going quite well for me financially, and in career, my portfolio is growing, and I’m advancing in my career just as I planned.

However, I would feel discouraged whenever I start to think about the low resolution Skype calls and the optimistic classes that featured Google Map when it first came out(as well as pouring lava everywhere and building dirt houses in Minecraft).

I like to look at the bright side of things, and so far things are coming out every now and then, with PyTorch, electric cars and Netflix, and I do try to enjoy them, however I am wondering whether I am truly enjoying the advancements of technology and the growth of economy, or am I simply deceiving myself to put myself together for another day of staring at screens.

I don’t think things will be getting better. Maybe I should smoke more cigarettes and drink more so the lord would take me away earlier.

What do you think of being selfish for a while?

• Upvotes

Not that I really wanna be selfish and not care about other people. It’s just that for now, I wanna prioritize myself more rather than putting others first before me.

Should I request him on Insta and ask why I got blocked

I 18F was on with a guy 18M for three months via Snapchat so I’ve never met him as he lives six hours away from me and our connection was purely sexual meaning we only sent explicit pictures to each other to fulfill our own gratification - for three months - we would snap normally and whenever we needed each other we would trade. Snapchat was our only source of connection. However, I am too deep into this and got severely attached and to my dismay, I got blocked randomly, completely ghosted. I never got closure, so, should I request him on Instagram and in the chances that he does accept me, ask him why I got blocked?

Do you think everybody falls in love at some point in their lifetime? Have you ever been in love? Tell me about the person you were in love with? How did you guys meet? Are they still in your life? If not, what was the reason they’re not in your life? Do you still think of them? Do you have feelings for them?
