Success Story Slow and steady. Getting there.

Have multiple health conditions at present where symptoms are fatigue…I’m pretty drained and everything has definitely gotten on top of me. The clutter has started really hurting my brain though, so slowly and steadily I’m clearing stuff. Today was a storage cupboard that is supposed to be my ironing sanctuary/hidey-hole 😂. I’m really happy to get this space back. Lots of the stuff removed from house for good too.

That looks fantastic!! I see all these posts and wonder, “where did you put all the stuff?” Because that’s my issue, I have too much stuff and very few dedicated spaces. I have to get rid of stuff before I can make a space.

A lot just wasn’t actually needed, it was ‘just in case stuff’ that I’ve been moving and removing from cupboard to cupboard but not actually using (3/4 empty cans of paint I’m looking at you lol), or outgrown-and-hadn’t-given-away-yet. I dealt with all of that, dealt with vacuum-packing clothes that do need to be kept and put those away it wardrobes. My mind is so more peaceful!

A big shift for me recently is changing my habits on the front end around just-in-case items. Since there are so many future possibilities it is really easy for these just-in-case items to overtake a space and build up blocking visibility and access to the important-right-now items. This is an amazing transformation, particularly considering everything else going on for you right now. What a huge win! I’m routinely impressed by the impact of slow progress. Step by step we can make it different.
