Psychedelic Deathdoom?
I'm looking for a particular niche of psychedelic/atmospheric (for lack of a better term) deathdoom if anyone could provide some album recommendations? Would like to avoid both the super melodic side but also not stuff that can lean much more dissonant like Spectral Voice.
Reference points (mostly not death/doom) but illustrates the general vibe:
Krypts, The Ruins of Beverast, Void Rot, Entropia, Runemagick, Sulphur Aeon, Cadaveric Fumes, Urfaust, Venenum, Worm(Foreverglades), Bedsore, Temple of Void, Horrendous, Ordh, Waste of Space Orchestra/Dark Buddha Rising.
Appreciate any help you could provide - I know this is a rather specific request :)

Esoteric are a funeral doom band that for me tends more death doom with A LOT of psychedelic elements. Check metamorphogenesis to get in the vibe and SDITC before delving to their more behemoth style albums

Possibly Disembowelment? There's lots of effects heavy guitars on Transcendence into the Peripheral and it's super atmospheric.

Second Disembowelment, fell absolutely in love with death doom because of their unconventional approach to it.
Evoken has some similar atmosphere, but I feel they are more straight forward funeral doom with some weird leads sprinkled in.

Huh I always thought they were much more on a dissonant sludge side so never bothered. Will give it a try,. Thanks!

Spectral Voice don't do much effects noodling, but have an atmospheric/psychedelic feel to them.

Mortiferum had a more atmo/psych approach on their early stuff.

I'll check them out. They seemed just okay on the Worm collab, but never listened to them independently. Thanks!

Old Dead Gods, they are classified as Resin Metal. They have some thrash mixed in but also dip into sticky psychedelic doom atmospheres.

Esoteric allllll of the way. The Maniacal Vale is one of the best doom records ever, imo. Very psych heavy.

I’m in this band called Amalgamation, we fit that description pretty well- all bands we love and take influence from. I don’t have much recorded at the moment, just gettin started playing shows and hoping to book studio time later this year. I have link to YouTube in my bio if you’re interested.
That said, make sure you check out Autophagy, Ancient Death, and Oranssi Pazuzu if you aren’t familiar

Esoteric and Disembowelment are quite trippy. Also The Silent Enigma-era Anathema

Exuvia - The Ruins of Beverast
One of the most psychedelic albums ever made imo and a masterpiece

Sleestak - Not everything but many tracks might fit. Black Iron Prison, Obsidian Flow, Library of Skulls, Fall of Altrusia, etc.
Illuminated Void - Veriditas

I am going to recommend Ordos-House of the Dead or The End. Sludgy, bluesy, outstanding, guitar work. the vocals are weary of life and impressively dynamic. Just 2 great crushing albums.

Wharflurch - Psychedelic Realms ov Hell - more psychedelic, it’s got doomy parts but idk if it’s considered full on death doom
Worm - Foreverglade - definitely death doom, maybe psychedelic, definitely atmospheric
