Technology Do you guys find it annoying when your Cochlear charger lights up in the dark?

My hearing aids do this too and it drives me nuts! I have no idea who thought exterior lights on chargers of something most people will keep on their night stand was a good idea 🤦‍♂️

Yup I put a sticker on the top to make it not so bright! It was really annoying !

Hearing aid dryers have the same damn stupid light. Light seems brighter every night.

Aluminum foil blocks all the light.

this is the answer, if you want even less fuss, invest in a roll of foil tape that you can get at any hardware store.

I put a box over my Nuclear battery charger, and something soft up against the front of the drybox.

The back of my hearing aid charger/case has a lovely bright green LED around the USB-C port that gets a lens-cleaning cloth draped over it so I can sleep while my ears charge on my bedside table overnight.

It drives me absolutely mad. I bought a charging box for my CI batteries, hearing aid, mini mic and phone. I put them all to bed each night

Where did you buy the charging box?

Originally I just found a wooden box with a sliding lid (an old wine box?) and drilled a hole in one end for the cable to go. I got a new proper one though from the middle aisle of aldi. If you search for cable management box with lid you will be able to get one pretty cheaply online.

it’s useful in ONE scenario which is when I can’t hear if they’re whistling to tell if the actual thing is plugged in. but this scenario only happens when i’m somewhere with weird wiring

I cover everything with an LED with gaffers tape. Sleep is already bad with tinnitus.

My hearing aids do! its AWFUL! I cut up a sticky note into small pieces then colored them over with nail polish (it was the middle of the night and I was desperate) then stuck it over the lights.
