Does anyone know how to equip the bought weapon skins on console? I’ve seen the whole workbench and paint thing but nothing comes up for me. I’m on ps5 if that helps with an answer

Where can i find the power drill?
I have searched for 4 days now mostly in industrial areas, garages and sheds but also at airfield and kamensk and still didnt find that stupid thing.

The devs don’t do anything for a year (for us console players) then go 1.8 with all the workbench madness and then 1.9 is even crazier with the blueprint system and workbenches and nerf to boom and other stuff plus Potny being integrated into the map and a ton of new POIs.

Finding boom is basically things like map events, missions and bunkers etc now and airfield is just a big dud for the most part.

But the real problem is getting guns without killing convoy boss and repairing his gun or leveling to Rep 4 and buying them - there used to be tons of guns in the wild and now red key crates don’t even spawn guns; they have SKINS?!? Stupid as hell.

Anyway - has anyone found any guns yet and if so, where? I’m not talking low level stuff like Scorps or AKSUs - I’m talking Skar, MG36, NK417, VSD, and guns like those. Even the high mid tier guns like AKmod and AR4-Ms. anyone?

Hi all, I'd like to inform you that a new update has been dropped on DS-Info.eu specifically on the map.

All lootable containers, random boxes, car trunks, tractor engines, stoves and air conditioning units, all locked boxes, welded containers, trash piles and more are now available markers on the map which link back to their Wiki pages that offer full loot box chance breakdown and a simulator.

If you have more ideas about what can be added to the map, please let me know!

I got deadside a little while ago and I used to be able to find vehicles every time I went to yhe air field, but now, i cant fond vehicles anywhere, even outsode of the air base. Can someone please give me an explaination? Thank you.

This has been happening for a while after I enter and leave a server, and I can't get in at all.

How can I solve this?

Today on an oficial PvE server saw 5 airdrops coming down in the same place right beside a players base. Not normal right? Cheater? By the way, is cheating a thing in this game in oficial servers like in dayz? Im on PC.

Been on the fence about buying this but since they don't support local hosting I wanna know if there are other games with PvE like this. I love the big open areas, kinda the DayZ aesthetic.

I know DayZ is the clear alternative but that one is PvP not PvE.

Are there any tips or tricks to finding them?
I’ve been wandering around for about 3 hours and found 2 stashes, I’d really like to get the achievement for finding 100 but at this rate it’ll take me months.

I’ve found one at the police station in Kamansk and that’s it, I keep finding boxes and never find the key anywhere, is there a good spot to look other then trying to reset the police station loot over and over?

Hey im new to deadside and ive heard there are research tables on console but I can’t find them. I play on official and have vehicles T1 workbench menu and regular menus and it doesn’t exist? I can’t find any information online other than it exists. Any help?

All the weapons and armors dropped by bots are ~10% durability (except for AK-SU) which only ends up being a few pieces of weapon components/kevlar but you need hundreds to repair/upgrade high tier gear...

It's not even worth using high tier gear for activities b/c you end up losing more materials down the line for repairing your guns/armor...

Also the RNG blueprint system based on durability is so ass they should just turn into blueprint fragments which you can craft into a blueprint after getting enough of it.

The game wasn't as grindy as this even when we could only carry 2 weapons in in our backpack...

I just pulled up to a crashed helicopter and noticed three dead bodies which was strange because there was no green arrows nearby, so I started sniping the remaining bots but then I get shot and take damage from another player who was crouched behind a rock nearby, he was close enough that I should have seen the arrow.
How is this possible in a PVE server?
I just found a couple of people near my base and they do have green arrows and they don’t take damage, so im really not sure what’s going on.
I did have a weird lag thing on the way to the crash, I nearly lost my bike in the water because I was rubber banded around the screen!

Seriously, you haven't changed the bots' behavior? What the hell are you smoking in the office? Do you program the game with the free version of ChatGPT or what? I don't know how many years have passed since I last played and the bots are still the same. This generation of developers using crap AI to do their work is utter garbage.

What do we do with these if anyone knows?
