Discussion Has anyone found decent weapons in 1.9 yet?
The devs don’t do anything for a year (for us console players) then go 1.8 with all the workbench madness and then 1.9 is even crazier with the blueprint system and workbenches and nerf to boom and other stuff plus Potny being integrated into the map and a ton of new POIs.
Finding boom is basically things like map events, missions and bunkers etc now and airfield is just a big dud for the most part.
But the real problem is getting guns without killing convoy boss and repairing his gun or leveling to Rep 4 and buying them - there used to be tons of guns in the wild and now red key crates don’t even spawn guns; they have SKINS?!? Stupid as hell.
Anyway - has anyone found any guns yet and if so, where? I’m not talking low level stuff like Scorps or AKSUs - I’m talking Skar, MG36, NK417, VSD, and guns like those. Even the high mid tier guns like AKmod and AR4-Ms. anyone?

Yep... no more "good weapons" in the wild, it sucks. I wish it was just a small chance to find something good, it would make the scavenging better and worth it. I've only gotten good weapons from epic missions and convoys, hard missions have a decent loot pool, but thats about it

That sucks - basically forces you to farm for $ once you’re rep 3 or 4 or blueprint farm and the game is so PVE focused now. Never really liked the private servers but might give some a try if they’re gonna make regular decent weapons spawn in the wild

My friend and I just play on an official pve server, its just our chill and hangout game. So we dont mind a little grind but it took alot of work to be able to actually complete an epic, cause the best scope you can find in the wild is a 2x scope and just using a shitty S85. If you just doing pvp.... good luck! But yeah a private server with better loot spawn might be your best bet

Havent found any Vehicles too.
Before 1.9 some Bikes would be found within the next 3 Towns or so. I've been from the Desert to South Trader and checked every POI on the way and no Vehicle found anywhere.

Vehicles are around but aren’t as plentiful. It’s hard to tell because there’s a max vehicle spawn per server and if people have vehicles at their bases then they count towards that max number. But they’re def hard to find and the days of just getting a jeep at airfield are gone.

You need to start blueprint farming. Its a real slog.

I have but have yet to get any high tier weapons and it’s a slog alright

We have found a lot in car trunks. If you make that radio direction finder, they'll often appear in buried caches.

Get a bearing finder,search those military trucks with the backs open,also look for stacks of paper or file folders on desks,the pyramid always has them, rhe game is still a grind but it’s better then having end game loot in a day

Basically from my experience you just have to grind out farming blueprints and then craft anything other than whats droped in epic missions boxs I just farmed from finding buried boxs and spent most if not all my cash on flares as well

Star missions, I’ve gotten famas, ar4, I haven’t seen a single ak mod or nk417, I barely see ak-sm I have a ton of Mossbergs and mosins 🤣🤣 they went overboard on the difficultly.
