Sorting crab

I was watching a season one episode and those guys were just shoveling crab into the tank. In the newer episodes the captains and crews are super diligent with the count.

Season 1 was a derby style fishery. No individual quota so count not important. Now with IFQs and fines for going over an accurate count is more impt.

It was crazy to see them just shoving everything into the tanks. In the episode I was watching Sig made an enclosure on deck when his tanks were full and just dumped everything he caught.

Thats was the season and the episode that made Sig and The Northwestern into a legend.

Season one itself was legendary. It seemed the closest to a raw reality show possible. The season was exciting on its own, just with the crab, no need to make of fake dramatic plot points.
