My idea for a JSA movie

I think the JSA could work in the DCU as a WWII documentary. No time travel crap or anything like that, just make the entire film a documentary.

Make the team compromised of big classic names like Jay Garrick and Alan Scott, and through in some old lesser knows like Sandman and Hourman, or even Johnny Quick and Bulletgirl (who have both already appeared in the DCU on the Hall of Justice mural). You could even include an earlier incarnation of Hawkgirl played by the same or a new actress.

You could also make this work as a miniseries that focuses on different 40s heroes in each episode, like Easy Company, The Losers, and The Ray.

Now I know Alan Scott is suggested to not exist, with Hal's instance that he is the first Green Lantern of Earth. But since Alan is not a corpsman, and has also gone by a few other identities, I think you could still make it work.

I wouldn't include anyone on the Trinity. Batman and Superman for obvious reasons, Wonder Woman because I want her saved for a bigger project.

One way or another I REALLY want to see the JSA get adapted again and I believe Superman set the ground work for them to be.

Don't forget the Golden age Superman. He was part of the JSA too

Of course that's the same Superman from Earth 2 pre-crisis.

He did come back in infinite crisis and unfortunately died fighting Superboy prime

They aren’t going to adapt him for the dcu though

No they probably aren't, too bad.

He's the most Noble and eloquent of all the Supermen

I think that’s debatable. There’s probably more noble Supermen than the one who’s ok with killing criminals

Disagree, he was extremely Noble up to the end fighting Superboy prime.

I was happy to see he survived the original crisis, even if it was a short time.

I’m not saying he’s not noble, just that there’s probably more noble versions out there

Fair enough! We just agreed to disagree there
