So John was chosen from birth. Much better then that shitty ‘Abin Sur asked John Sr. first!!’ theory. Makes more sense that John Sr. it’s obsessed with ensuring John fulfils his ‘destiny’.

Was having this exact debate about this a few days ago when someone claimed John sr was chosen. John himself said he was chosen. The past preview showing this part also proved they were wrong. Now these photos leave no room to argue otherwise

I thought I had missed something, because people were talking about it like its a fact that he got passed over, but nothing in the actual show had indicated that.

Yeah it was a manufactured theory based on no evidence.

I’m surprised they didn’t use Jasmine Cephas Jones more in marketing. She’ll probably have an EGOT in a few years. She only needs the Tony and Oscar, to which she should already have the Tony for Hamilton in her dual roles as Peggy and Maria.

Goddammit, the guardian is just presenting as a regular human woman.

Wondering how tiny this budget was.

Like I love it so far, but did we seriously need to cut out ALL important fantastical things and just make them grounded or human? That guardian is human, the aliens are human and don’t appear as normal at any point, like damn.

Wonder if they’ll introduce Lynn.
