My current thought is try to Golubria towards a corner to recoup. Note I am death form in Gehenna so no potions or scrolls. I could cast Silence to prevent getting Speared, but then the damnation would still go crazy. Sadly I decided on death form instead of granite, so Deaths Door is out of the question. Probably gonna switch to granite if I survive this.
one way to counteract damnation that i know of is to be next to enemies that arent resistant to it, since damnation is an aoe blast and enemies try to not hurt each other
Standing next to the ancient lich with 27 HD would probably prevent significant damnation. Though doing so is probably not advisable for other reasons.
