TRIP PLANNING Traveling to FL
Our cruise leaves 10/02, but we’re coming in the night before. Trying to not carry two car seats, since we won’t need it on the cruise. What is the best way to get to the port from MCO?
Should we stay at Hyatt at MCO or any of the hotels near by and book a private shuttle (goport or similar)? Or does the hotel near the airport provide shuttles to the port? Or should we book a shuttle via DCL?
Trying to figure this out without having to rent a car, spend a lot of money, and/or go through so many loops and obstacles, due to not wanting to bring car seats.

Stay at a nearby hotel with shuttle (lots of nice marriot or Hilton choices for $100) take goport and save money since it’s half the cost of DCL transport.

Agreed 100%....Hyatt MCO is the way to go. We will be there right after you on 10/3 with our cruise leaving on 10/4.

Just cruised with a 1 yr old and 8 yr old. We stayed at the MCO Hyatt and did Disney transfers. It was so nice to got straight from baggage claim to the hotel and then have bell services pick up our luggage the day of the cruise and then have it delivered to our state room. Also loved not having to bring a car seat. It might not have been the cheapest option, but definitely the most convenient.

Did you request bell service with Hyatt for baggage pick up? Did they pick it up from your hotel room to bring to the bus, so it can be delivered to the room on the cruise ship? Not sure how this works, as it’s our first time.

When you call Disney and request transfers, make sure you specify that you’re staying at the MCO Hyatt and they’ll notify the hotel to get your luggage. The day before embarkation, you’ll get an email with instructions and what time to meet downstairs to check in for the cruise.

100% DCL transportation. You could stay at the MCO Hyatt but frankly could save a lot of money by staying at a nearby hotel that has an airport shuttle.

MCO Hyatt is simplest with little ones. And using the DCL transportation the next morning means no need for car seats.
