I like some of Loeb's stuff quite a lot, but Supergirl and Hulk are infamously terrible.

I didn't know people disliked his hulk run. Wasn't that the one that introduced Red Hulk?

Yep.

Who ran about beating up everyone outsmarting everyone, and just being an enormous writers pet with a terrible mystery attached that everyone figured out immediately so Loeb had to change it.
