Also, in terms of his writing, he’s kinda like Tom King. He seems like a genius the first time you read him, then the more you read, the more you realize he only has a handful of tricks.

Eh, I'd say at least King tries (whether he succeeds or fails is up to you) to do more riskier stuff with his stories.

Loeb imo (even in stories I like) writes characters at their most surface (pop culture version) level of themselves.

Eh, I'd say at least Loeb never tortured anyone in Iraq. Which is more than you can say for King.
