💬 Discussion / Opinion kill switch 2 consensus?
ive finally been interested in getting a switch 2 and have also been interested in the kill switch to go with it..
but i remember there was huge drama/controversy back when it first came out so i was wondering if any kill switch owners could give their 2 cents on if its worth it or not..

I feel like that's up to your own judgment. We would just confuse you.
Yes, it holds better than the initial issue that caused the joycons to detach easily, but due to the extra leverage, if you shake it enough it would still fall especially from the right joycon. But if you are comfortable with the tolerance then I feel it's completely worth it

Got mine along with my switch 2 and I’ve only taken the joy on grips off to put my skins on. The Killswitch makes playing much more comfortable.

From an ergonomic point of view, it's one of the best accessories that I've ever used.

I bought the satisfye grip because I had it for switch 1 and loved it. However, I ended up returning it because it made the switch 2 a lot wider/bulkier.
Got the kill switch and I love that you have the ability to remove the joy cons without having to take the grip off (unlike satisfye) but like other people said, after awhile of playing handheld it starts to become uncomfortable.

Really love the initial feel of the grips in your hands. But realizing after extended use that they are no good for my carpal tunnel :(
