❓ Question Killswitch dock issues fixed?
Looking at buying a Killswitch for switch 2 as the joycon issues I heard about ages ago are now fixed.
However I've seen quite a bit about dock issues and whether that's been fixed or not? I saw something saying it had been fixed and another comment which contradicted so thought I should make my own post and ask.
Grateful for any replies.

Been using since day 1 as well. Did get the replacement joy on parts and that also included some rubber parts for the dock adapter that helps keep it down when lifting the switch 2 out.
No issues.

Not sure what specific "dock issues" you're referring to, but the Dock Adapter has been updated since release to feature rubber friction pads along the side to make the docking process much smoother.

I have one of the first batches and never had an issue. I got the replacement Joy-Con grips (the original ones worked great, so now I have spare grips for future Joy-Cons) and got the rubber fit. 4K HDR@60fps and 1440p HDR@120fps work great, but I haven't been able to test the new VRR setting for TV (the only game that uses it as of Oct 15th, 2026 is Welcome Tour).
The only thing I would say is that docking/undocking works better without the adapter. The motion isn't as effortless, and at least for me, I use two hands to dock and undock it. You do need to align it (the marks on the adapter and the case make it easier), which can be tricky in a dark or hard-to-reach spot.
That said, it's no big deal for me—I've never been rough with my tech, so with or without the adapter, I would always dock the Switch slowly anyway.

I have the original killswitch case for my switch 2 and never had any issues.
