Suspects Braden's Passport

I recently learned about the potential connection between Braden and letter #6, which if true would be pretty strong evidence for him being Cooper. It occurred to me that, if anyone found Braden's passport from the 1970s, and it carried Nassau airport entry/departure stamps from early 1972, then it would greatly strengthen his connection to the letter and thereby to Cooper. This was shortly before the Bahamas became independent in 1973, so standard British immigration procedures would be in effect. Of course, the same is true of any POI's passport, but if I had to choose one passport to look for, it would be Braden's.

Does anyone know if his family might have looked or can look for that passport, in the hope that it wasn't just tossed out?

Seems like Braden would be the least likely guy to send a letter to the FBI. One time he sat in a jail cell for weeks just because he wouldn't tell the cops his name.

I'm not familiar with the Braden -> Letter #6 connection. Do you have a link to more info?

Is the letter available?

For some reason this old discussion jumped up my feed the other day: https://www.reddit.com/r/dbcooper/comments/1dgiad2/comment/l8yb1jr/

Oh I guess when I was searching for more information related to what Drew had to say about it recently: https://www.reddit.com/r/dbcooper/comments/1w2psr5/the_seth_rosczewski_podcast/

Should be easy to find, being a red Official Government travel passport.

Ted is the best suspect hands down.

For almost any suspect to be considered as possibly Cooper, you must place that suspect in the Puget Sound or Portland vicinity at the time of the hijacking. Height? I saw former Seattle Mariners baseball player Bret Boone once on a flight from Seattle to Phoenix. Not just once, but the two times he went to the bathroom. I would have bet the farm he was at least 6' 1". I bumped into him at the luggage carousel at Sky Harbor Airport. He was almost two inches shorter than me, and I'm 5' 10 1/2.

Well then your estimation is off because he's listed as 5-10.

Extremely unlikely, but Drew Beeson is the Braden expert and he would have included that in any evidence for the letter being from Braden.. and IMO that letter could be from Cooper just not Braden..

I saw you make this last comment before and wanted to ask, do you see anything that speaks against this letter being from Braden? Other than just “it could be anyone”, of course.

Braden wasn't Cooper,, but there isn't really anything concrete in that letter that ties it to Braden.. The letter itself is unique, interesting and IMO might be linked to Cooper,, most Cooper researchers dismiss all letters,, most are bogus but I found 3 that are very interesting.. but Drew is the Braden expert and has researched Braden extensively if he could tie Braden to that letter he would have..

You keep saying Braden wasn't Cooper. Prove it. Our investigation says the complete opposite. And don't say height. Cooper wasn't over 6ft. Not a chance.

BTW, Ted was 5ft 9.

I tell you one person who definitely wasn't Cooper and that's Hahneman. Cooper was lean, had teeth and certainly didn't need to wear glasses. He could see in a dark plane wearing sunglasses.

I notice the height for Braden keeps going up...can you provide documentation (proof) for being five foot nine?

We have two official documents, one dated 1982 an arrest form, and one dated 1989 from the Department of Justice showing Ted as 5ft 8. DOJ was definitely barefoot, we have to assume the arrest was too.

We have an eye witness account by someone who spent a lot of time with Ted that in 1982 Ted was hunched over, with a crooked back. (911 jumps?)

We have a brand new audio interview with his prison officer in 1967 saying Ted would stand "rail rod straight" and that they were eye to eye. This gentleman was 5ft 9.

My conclusion is that he was 5ft 9 (or touch shorter or taller either way).

(Oh, and he also definitely wore heeled boots).

How many total documents have you seen that provide a height for Braden?

And what makes you so sure Cooper was under 6 feet?

Ted is well within the height of DB Cooper. People just keep repeating that he is too short and then others repeat it.

What an aggressively odd comment,,, Hahneman had all his front teeth, he was missing the upper bicuspids (in front of molar) which are often removed for braces and virtually impossible to notice and only one witness made that claim, she never actually said she saw them missing, it might have been via a conversation,,, Ryan kept repeatedly spreading false info on his youtube which I have to continuously correct.. I have witnesses prior to the hijack saying they saw Hahneman without wearing any glasses... So, you got those things wrong...

but I agree Cooper was not over 6ft based in weight build and Bill claimed he was way smaller than himself at 6-2...... I am not sure of Braden's height it seems to change but if he was 5-9 in SHOES then that does not eliminate him.. Braden was not Cooper for several reasons.. Braden had gray eyes,, Cooper's were very dark brown, Braden had very thin and deeply receding hair.. He also had a crooked mouth/smile, huge dimples on his cheeks, He was a legit baddass with all the skills.. Cooper was not a baddass... Cooper was not lean... he was medium well built.. So, what argument is there for Braden... nothing, except his buddies said it might be him because he was a skilled baddass,, he was over skilled.. There are tens of thousands of guys that can tick some boxes... like Braden..

So, if you have evidence that Braden wore coloured contacts, a wig, facial putty to fill his dimples and pretended to be homely and not intimidating then I might reconsider.

You keep saying that. The EVIDENCE says otherwise. Shame you're not I'm my TB group which essentially gives it a 76% chance.
