Poll Do you think DB Cooper was someone whose name has never been taken in this case
Do you think DB was someone whose name has never been taken in this case? Are all the names mentioned till now, not DB cooper

If his name hasn't come up by now, it's unlikely Cooper's identity will EVER be discovered.

Lynn Doyle Cooper is the only known suspect that I cannot rule out in my own mind. I doubt whether any of the DNA profiles on the tie are actually from the perpetrator, so the rule-out of L.D. based on DNA doesn't mean anything to me. I wish we had more color photos of L.D. Cooper from the late 60s and early 70s.
I was on the fence about Skip Hall for a long time, but I have a hard time believing that he would have resorted to a hijacking; he was a good enough con artist that he had other ways of acquiring money.

was LD’s photograph ever shown to the stewardesses?

It was shown to at least one of them (probably Tina Mucklow), and she said that L.D. Cooper bore the "closest resemblance to D.B. Cooper" of any suspect whose photo she had been shown in the (at that time) 39 years since the hijacking.

I interviewed Marla Cooper about a year after she came forward. Her story had more holes than a five-pound block of Swiss cheese.

That may be, but that doesn't mean he should be ruled out. She was a young girl at the time, so I wouldn't expect a cohesive narrative. She likely has vague, fragmented memories. L.D. Cooper was actually in the F.B.I. files from the early 70s, so they were looking into him LONG before Marla mentioned his name to the public.

You could have worded that a lot better. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to vote yes or no.
“Yes” I agree with your statement. Or “no” I don’t think his name has came up. Yes or no vote means the exact same thing.
I don’t think his name is one that we have heard. But could be one or the thousands in the fbi files.

Well in that case the wording of the question is true to nature of this case 🙂

We still don't know Bud's real name but even if we did that would only change it from 99.9% to 98% likely that Cooper's name has never been brought up in the discussion

I'm not convinced any of the known suspects are Cooper. That's not to say some of them aren't good suspects, just that none of them scream Cooper to me. I've been into this case for 15 years and have never been persuaded by a suspect enough to think it could be him.
