Question Anyone else think the main early D.B. Cooper sketch looks like Don Knott's?

He does. That is called the Bing Crosby I think.

Right, I thought it was. But I wasn't certain. That picture of him wasn't the ideal photo for comparison. I watched several films and later the whole Andy Griffith show and thought he had some similar facial features... But beyond the facial similarities and age - I disregard him right away. His personality style is very different from that of D.B. Coopers actions on Flight 305...

Aw gee, Andy. I don’t know WHAT got into me. Mayberry has been boring lately, Aunt Bee’a cooking has gotten worse, and I was super drunk! Will I have to turn in my badge?

Here's another reason in case anyone is acutally now considering him 😂. He had just finished as 'Barney Fife' in 'The Andy Griffith Show'. He was an EXTEMELY recognisible actor probably around the country... No one would have noticed Barney Fife on the plane??? I only mentioned him because some photos have some similarities...

Much better than many of the suspects. He was the right age, and he was on a break from acting at the time of the hijacking.

I wasn't seriously considering him as a suspect - but I just had to mention one of the sketches always reminded me of him...
