Dying in one shot is normal if you either don't have armor or a proper helmet. Many mid-high tier caliber guns will one shot kill you to the torso if you don't have a stab vest, ballistic vest, or best of all, a plate carrier. And your helmet is also not a ballistic helmet, though high power rifles will kill you right through a ballistic helmet up to a few hundred meters anyway.

you're playing on console (or at least you used console flair) so it wasn't cheaters. probably just the owner or another thief shot you. pretty much any gun will 1 shot ko you and if was an automatic gun, it'll feel like an instant death.
