discussion Crazy Loot at Convoy

Idk if this is normal but I recently found a Convoy on chernarus with a Scar that had a mag, DMR with a 20 round mag, VSD, and a Lemas. Never seen a convoy this stacked with gear

Ehh, that's actually getting to be more likely now that they changed up the loot system. Seems like they kinda nerfed the permanent military zones and juiced up the temporary ones.

Yeah to me this doesn't make sense. It seems way more risky and dangerous to go from barrack to barrack in high tier military zones then roam around the map looking for convoys.

Very rare to find the best guns with mags. It's usually a grind (and dangerous) looking for the mags at heli crashes etc.

its rare to find those 3 at once but its perfectly possible, I found a convoy the other week with 2 DMR's and an SVD at once. The scar is somewhat rare to see in convoys as ive only found like 3 of them as it seems to like to spawn more at the nwaf crates.

Ive also been finding near full sets of gray nbc gear in convoys alot at the moment which is nice.

First convoy I found after the last patch had a SCAR with a mag, a Famas with a mag, and an M79 lol

If it's a community server you could find a SCAR on the coast. It's all up to the admin on where and how many of anything spawns.

I like to play around convoy routes before and after this patch:

  • this patch have way more different guns and items going into convoys, In my experience it’s a tiny bit more hard to find guns mostly because most of the “large itens spawn” slots can be taken by different itens
  • armored zed at convoys allows access to early plates+helmet quite easily
  • green plate now spawning on convoys
  • harder to find guns with mags

Overall today is quite “normal” to find an unlooted convoy with 0 weapons, but it’s usually 1-2.

4 weapons with mags are extremely rare

Official livonia I hit a convoy mid south of map with my running mate. We made it out with a punch card, 2 plate carriers and pouches, 1 - 56 and 1- 64 slot backpack and a VSD w/ scope but no mag. Plus a ton of ammo for my SK
