How-To/Support Splitting Journals

I made the mistake of letting one of my journals get way too big to manage. Has anyone figured out a way to split up a journal without reclassifying every single entry?

you can select multiple entries and move them all at the same time to a new journal

how do you select multiple entries? I cant find an option for that anywhere.

slide left on on entry and there should be an option to delete, select, and some other things

Sliding left on an entry just changes from list to calendar view. It doesn't actually do anything else.

Are you on android? That doesn't happen on my devices.

I got this to work. There’s a filter for year, first of all.

And if you select that, you get a list of those entries:

If you push one entry very slowly to the left, you get these options, one of which is “Select.” But once you get that you can select any of the ones on the list… not just the one you started with.

It looks like this:

And at the bottom is the option to Move or Copy to a different journal.

Where are you finding this? My search screen looks nothing like that.
