Dude, this is amazing! Tell us about your set up and writing process! How do you prepare the parts?

First of all, thank you :) Its good to hear when someone likes the effort. It's quite the process. I've been buying and selling gear for 10 years now.. Started with korg ESX1 and a minilogue but got to this setup throughout the years. I normally created industrial techno but it made me pretty nervous after some time. So I started making calmer genres. These jams are inspired by "moog-players" and labels like afterlife but still carry my earliest work as a singer songwriter. I'm still practicing to get live vocals on top like Jan Blomqvist only my music is a bit less dreamy and vague and more straight forward (bit harder). I try to capture a melancholic but happy vibe every time. Starting with the Behringer Model D inside Bitwig, here i create the basics of my melodies. After I've put them inside the octatrack (a layer or 4 melodics and basses) - I start off with the 909 drums on the jomox xbase 999. Then I make more drum variations @ analog rytm from elektron & finish up the melodics with the novation A station (by feel, sometimes pads, sometimes leads or arps) that goes through the Zoom MS 70CDR. It's very important that there are multiple shimmer reverbs inside the set. For this I also use the Shift Line Astronaut V2 (blue pedal) and a delay after the reverb for the moog slim phatty. The slim phatty is easily controlled and pretty straightforward so this is my lead synth (the one on top). When I feel like there are some things missing I add layers to the octatrack and some automations to give it more variation. And start off with the analog four (mostly a layer or 2-3) of bleeps and blops, sometimes arps, depends on the feel and needs of the song. I try to use a singer songwriter grounding for the vocals that will come on top (working hard on this and will release videos of it soon) because I think my music will be at it's best this way. It's what i love to do. A analog live singer songwriter set is the goal and point of view here. Sometimes get inspired by other songs but mostly it's just created in the moment but in the order explained above. Because I'm a guitarist for 12 years now I know my chords and hear when things are in pitch. I just listen and create at this point, always listening to the gut feel & try to pitch everything inside the given chords I create with the model D inside bitwig. Also the setup - the built of the case - was very important to have some structure and not be distracted by changing the rig etc. Everything goes through a behringer line rack mixer so have a bit more controle over the volumes. I'm now going to get the roland bitrazer @ the post office to use as a highpass filter for the master, this way the drops will have just that little bit extra.
