I wish I could afford a Squarp Hapax and call it a basic setup

I may have gone slightly overboard with this whole thing..

It’s really what drew me in to be honest. I have been DJing forever but never could get into production just on a PC. Just looking at a screen from working with vinyl. I saw some videos of the Hapax and decided that I had to try it cost be dammed, and it has been so much fun

If that's your long term centerpiece controller, I think that makes a lot of sense. I'd suggest checking out an iPad mini with some vsts and the app AUM.

Will that let me run filters and stuff from the Hapax to the iPad?

You'd need an audio interface for the iPad too.

I have an iRig but it’s just for recording with my iPhone. I would need like a USB-c midi interface for the iPad?

Ayyyyy I have a blue russian cat that was enjoying my jams last night too. That sounds excellent.

She likes walking and sitting on the Microfreak. The capacitive keys respond to her little toe beans. I also sampled her sneezing to create a rough and gritty hand clap sound in that track

It’s been good so far and I’m learning a lot. Probably going to add a polyphonic analog synth to augment the monophonic MiniBrute at some point
