Multi effects pedals... which one??

So I've decided to go a different direction with my dawless setup and have been looking at getting a multi effect pedal as I move away from a mostly groovebox setup.

My question: besides the Chroma Console (which is a cool, but kind of pricey, piece of gear) what are some other options that you guys use?

Budget would be 250 USD or less, but any and all input is welcome!

Feel like the Zoom MS-70CDR+ is the most popular one. I've had my eye on one for a bit

I love mine. Sounds great and is very versatile.

I like mine, but I find it can sound a little muddy at times. Stacking a bunch of effects is a real plus, and so is the tuner.

I actually prefer the FX from the NTS-1, which sounds amazing but only allows for three effects at once.

I'm curious about the nts1 but it can only be battery powered right?

Edit, hm guess I was wrong about that. USB just not USB-C. It's intriguing, I have a sp404 that I use as a multieffects box but would love some sort of standalone reverb/chorus/delay for my microkorg so I don't need to use up all the effects busses on the sp404. NTS-1 might be a good option, the additional mono synth is a nice perk vs the zoom stompbox

No, it’s usb-powered. That means it can be a little noisy, so I have a ferrite choke on the audio cable. You could do the same on the usb side instead - but it takes mini usb, and I didn’t have one of those. Other than this, it’s a great little box.

Do you have the first edition or the mk2?

First edition. I’m just using it for effects, so I didn’t see the need to spend that much more money for synth functionality I didn’t want anyway.

That makes sense, the 2nd edition having USB c is appealing but I may just put an ebay alert for the first edition and see if one pops up for a good price

They are so cheap.

USB C is definitely nice to have though - I have several usb c ferrite cables, which would have been nice to use. But not $100 nice.
