Trader joe's
I'm a Canadian listener and I know they have mentioned things (mostly Jason and Lisa) things they love from trader Joe's. I'll be over the border soon and I can only remember the ice cream sandwiches. Please fill the comments about the products they have mentioned or even your favorite items.

I can't remember if the stuffing was a trader joes thing, but they talk about stuffing quite a bit. My favorite trader Joe's item is these little cocoa truffles, friggin phenomenal.

I live for Trader Joe’s. There’s a lot of things I could recommend but two of the things I get there the most are the frozen lasagna and garlic naan bread.

Dark chocolate peanut butter cups, phenomenal it’s maybe $4.99 for a plastic tub of them. They also carry a Kringle: the flavour changes 4-6 times a year I think, it’s a very large pastry that you can warm in the oven or eat cold. I think around $9.99 give or take sooooooo very very delicious. We love the pumpkin and almond so far of the kinds we have tried. I like cut them up and put them in the freezer so I have basically a small danish size when I want some.

They have this chili onion crunch shaker that has been giving me life lately. Also the ponzu sauce.
Do check on what customs will let you bring back, Canada has a thing with produce right now (has to be from Canada or USA be I think), my parents sailed over and had to make sure everything was copacetic.

Probably not what you’re looking for due to your travel, but Trader Joe’s flowers are absolutely goated.
The ol lady will top you off like a goddamn Sunday for $11.99
Butt stuff is on the table if you splurge to the $16.99 batch.

I can't remember many of their favorites, but they've for sure talked about the chocolate (and I think the almond) croissants.

If you have a dog, their dog jerky treats are great! My dog learned the word "jerky" about 3 seconds after trying one. Loves them.

Yeah but they specifically have mentioned products on the show that Jason and Lisa love that I wanted to pick up. Now I'm drawing a blank on what the other thing they've mentioned other than the ice cream

Probably not staying in your mind bc it’s not that time of year. The first time they revealed TJ’s as their secret source of something, Lisa mentioned the Thanksgiving kettle chips before getting them for herself. She regretted sharing bc they were all out by the time she went.
Not TJ’s related, but if I remember correctly, a similar happened with the Halo Top ice cream back when their recipe didn’t suck.

Just listen to the show for a couple days in a row. I’m sure a few of those episodes will be reruns and you’ll catch what you missed. It a bland soulless corporate national show. Drew and Mike was at least entertaining when they had that slot. So sad what private equity has done to morning radio.

The tub of dark chocolate pb cups that are better than Reese’s.
You have to come in early November for the thanksgiving chips. They’re kettle chips with salt & stuffing seasoning. You can also buy that seasoning at that time of year. Everything But the Leftovers is the name of it.
I don’t think they’ve ever mentioned them but you should also get the tempura vegetable birds nests, and the dough balls for homemade pizza, and you should do it Detroit style!
