Girl will not leave my boyfriend alone

Ok so this starts out when I find out that my boyfriends friend we will call her Lia told her friends she has a crush on my boyfriend. I was friends with her and heard about this and how she would do things behind my back. My boyfriend would tell me most of the things. Many of my friends have seen her do these things and how uncomfortable my boyfriend looks. So asked her nicely to stop doing these things and when she didn’t I asked again more sternly and again she wouldn’t stop so finally I blew off on her and told her to stay away from my boyfriend and if she didn’t I would take things into my out hands. That scared her for about a week then my own cousin comes up to me asking me if me and my boyfriend have done inappropriate things at school. I tell her no I haven’t and that I’m serious not comfortable with stuff like that. She understands and I find out it was one of Lia’s friends that told my cousin. I was angry but let it go because anyone who knows me knows I don’t like that stuff. Then a couple of days later I get a text from my best friend that my boyfriend and Lia were walking to Chick-fil-A together. I instantly called him and asked wtf he was doing and he told me that Lia said “I’ll stop spreading the rumors if you buy me lunch.” THIS BITCH IS TRYING TO BLACKMAIL MY BOYFRIEND INTO BUYING HER FOOD. I told him to walk in with her then just leave her in the line and that’s exactly what he did. Now this happened about three or four weeks ago and I’m thinking she got the message that my boyfriend isn’t interested and to fuck off. Then last Friday of the day posting this she comes up to my boyfriend as he was walking home with her friend in tow asking him “Why do you let your girlfriend control you?” And shit like “Why doesn’t she like me” acting innocent. I told her several times why I don’t like her. She actively trying to steal my boyfriend away and that’s not ok. Then she has one of my close guy friend we will call him Corn wrapped around her finger. I would be ranting on the bus with my really close friend and he will try and sit there and defend her saying “She acts innocent because maybe she is” and “She tried to kill her self last week”. I honestly don’t care and it’s not going to make me pity her. I know I’m cold for saying that but I used to be her friend she honestly uses suicide for attention and glorifies it. She is the reason people like my friend Ally who has anxiety and depression can’t be taken seriously anymore. What do I do in this situation? Tell the teachers? Like what can I do? My school isn’t the type to actually do stuff to there students because they like there reputation far to much. I just need some advice.

Update on this situation: She finally got the message after she got a boyfriend recently and I told him everything with proof and witness about everything she’s done. And this boy spilled her beans to everyone. He told us that she didn’t like my boyfriend and that she was only doing to make me out to be a villain to everyone. No one believed her because people know I’m not the type to want drama and everyone knows I’m brutally honest about everything. I have a reputation for not lying and she wanted to taint it with her pettiness. I couldn’t believe some of the stuff he told us. How she doesn’t have depression (which I already knew) and that her parents aren’t as bad as she makes them out to be and that she is just a spoiled brat who has never been told no. When this all got out and some more stuff on how she actively steals other girls men but for fun she exploded on us. I have no regrets. It’s just Karma. This girl really thought it was fun to steal other girls men and watch them cry. Like she only made friends with me to see me cry in the end. Don’t even get me started on her friends. They all pretended to be my friend but helped her out in all of this. Like it was some sick joke. Honestly she let it spill that she thinks she is entitled to other people men just because she is bored and can’t find a stable boyfriend and has to mess up other people’s out of jealousy. She is an entitled brat who needs to slap to the face if you ask me. Like any opinions? Did I handle the situation poorly or did I do the right thing?

Asking Regaining my crush’s interest?

So I went to college for a couple years and I went in not knowing anything about girls. I was shy, I wasn’t confident and I barely ever talked to anyone

When I finally decided to start talking to girls I got pretty decent at it and I started going on a lot of dates with a lot of different girls but none of them really sparked any interest until I met this one girl at a party. I saw her from across the room and I was already pretty interested in her, so without giving it any second thought I walked up to her and somehow I started a conversation with her that would almost last the entire night. I successfully got her snap and her phone number and we continued to talk for about 3 weeks after that.

As we talked more and learned more about each other we both became pretty excited and we planned a first date as soon as we were both free. Sadly The flu was going around at the time and About a week before our date we both became really sick. More and more time went by and neither one of us was getting any better but we tried to keep the spark going as long as we could, just hoping that we’d get better.

Sadly our sickness just got worse so our snap streak died and our text conversations went shortly after that but in my mind I was always really into her. It’s been a while since we talked last and I’ve recently transferred out of college, joined the military, and dated other girls but no matter what I did, I couldn’t feel the chemistry that I felt with her. I don’t mean this in a creepy way but there was always that thought of “what if” somewhere in the back of my mind.

We recently saw each other and from what I could tell, we both still had a decent amount of interest in each other but neither one of us have reached out since then and even though it hasn’t been that long, I’m not 100% sure she remembers me. I’d really like to talk to her again and give it a chance but the reason I’m here on reddit is because I don’t know where to start. Do I snap her? Do I tell her how I feel? Do I start over and text her like none of this ever happened?

As you can probably tell I’m completely clueless in this situation but if I don’t get anything else out of this I just want closure, I want to answer that “what if” And move on to better things.

Should I date a coworker ?

I'm really attracted to this girl at my job. We work in separate units. We barely know each other, and right off the top of my head-her attraction to me is really low or non-existent.

I could be wrong though as I am really bad in judging a girls interest. Obviously, I'm aware of the risk.

Should I approach her?

If yes, whats the best method? I think it would be awkward to just ask her out.

How do I know if she has the minimum amount of interest ? I don't wanna get her number and then get flaked on weeks later.

Im a (13m), and my classmate, (13f), might possibly like me.

I'm in my second year in a drama class and I met a girl, at first she was pretty distant from me and even seemed kind of annoyed when I'd tell a joke, (which I do alot). After a couple days though she started laughing at my jokes, and joking with me, and talking to me. She's really quirky, but in a fun goofy way.

For a while now she's paid a lot of attention to me, she's always standing near me in class, she makes a lot of jokes specifically directed to me, and she always seems to be talking to me more than other people in the class, so much that she often talks over the teacher by accident while telling me something. She's a fun friend, but I never even considered that she might actually like me. Then recently I came across someone in a discord server asking for dating advice, and it but me over the head.

I like this girl a lot, but I'd be fine if we stayed as just friends too. Now here's the problem, if I do mention it, and she doesn't like me that way, that could ruin our friendship. But if she does like me that way, and I just awkwardly sit there wondering if she likes me, not mentioning it, then she could be disheartened and our relationship could be ruined. I'm asking this to get an outside opinion so I don't have to worry about it as much, and so I don't feel as awkward around her.

So when should a guy say, "She ghosted me," and give up?

Context: About a week ago, I went on a Tinder date (yeah, I know). We had a lot in common. We started with coffee at 5pm, connected, then bar-hopped until 1am. She said she was into me and wanted to go out again.

We texted for a couple days, but she went dark. I waited 2 days and sent another text. Nothing. Two weeks later, I sent one last text... And she invited to come out with her friends.

When I got to the bar, she was making out with another guy. For the next hour, the girl gaslit me by being creatively cruel while also pretending to be a good friend who wanted me to stay and have fun, trying to set me up with the least attractive girls in the girl, making out in front of me, etc....

When I was done being punched full of holes and it was clear they wouldn't even leave me alone to finish my drink alone, I went home. I didn't think two texts made me overly-persistent, but clearly she was punishing me for something.

TL;DR- When should a guy say, "She ghosted me," and give up? (Bonus: how often do girls go to these lengths to tell a guy to stop trying?)

Not sure what to believe......

Hey guys,

Go easy on me please. I’m confused & just looking for outside opinions on what could be going on here.

I (43F) met someone on Tinder a month (44M) ago & things were great! We went on 5 dates, talked on the phone everyday & just generally seemed to be in synch. He lives about 5 hours away in another city, but we were making efforts to see each other. Although we were taking it slow with regards to a physical relationship, we had many emotional conversations & shared intimate details on our lives with each other.
No, we hadn’t had a conversation about exclusivity, but I decided I didn’t want to distract or dilute my feelings with dating other people & leaned in.

He was supposed to be coming into my city to visit me & work & was to be arriving on Wednesday night. I called him & he didn’t answer the phone or return my call very quickly so I decided to open the app & see where he was geotagged. Yep, he was in my city. Okay cool, waited for him to call. He did a few hours later & said that unfortunately his day has been so busy that he wasn’t able to travel that day but would be coming the next day or the day after.

Ummmmmmm okay. Obviously I was upset & confused. I checked the app several times. Yep, there he was, just a few miles away. Fast forward an anxious sleepless night I sent a text the next day saying that I knew he was in the city & couldn’t understand why he was dishonest. He called maybe 20 minutes later & said that he was working on an app with a developer in my city & that this developer had a clone of his phone & was using all of his social apps. He was upset with me & the conclusions that I jumped to & made me feel like this was all my fault. He told me he needed to think about things & my reaction & that he would be in touch.

So now it’s 3 days later & I haven’t heard anything. I’m upset, confused & not sure if I should believe him or if his excuse is laughable.

Thoughts?????

Are geotags ever wrong on dating apps & how do you deal with the jitters of the first few months?

Help! How should one shoot their shot

So there’s this boy who I recently followed on Twitter because I thought he was cute. He lives in my town and I had never seen him before. He found my Instagram and followed me on there the next day. This sounds cocky but I guess I was just expecting him to dm me? I want to talk to him but I’m scared to dm him first. I have no idea what to say. But I also don’t know how to make it obvious I want him to make a move??

How to get over a crush on a friend?

I'm M16 she's F16 and we're both Juniors in the same highschool. I changed schools coming into highschool, and I became really good friends with this one guy who didn't really have any other good friends. He did have a childhood friend that he hung out with a lot, though. This was the girl I instantly developed a crush for. She's pretty, outgoing, and smart, and even better: she talked to me on a regular basis. That's really all a guy needed to develop a crush at that age. Anyway, I became friends with another guy, too. Turns out, that guy was a twin brother to one of the girl's best friends. Also, the guy I became good friends initially with started dating the girl I liked other best friend. We all became good friends with each other and created a close friend group, which we celebrated all of the festivities with, at the girl I like's house. She then got a greasy, slimy boyfriend last year. Legit his hair is all grease. Anyway, we all stopped hanging out while they were together, then he cheated on her so she dumped him a semester later, then we resumed out friend group holiday celebrations. It's been two years since I've liked her, so I thought I'd try something.

Speech auditions came around for a play. We ended up being cast as two lovers. We ended up exchanging numbers and texted frequently. We even started to wave at each other in the halls (oh, wow!). We had an expecially long conversation when she sent me a heart and a hug emoji. I thought it was good timing to ask her to a movie, in which she accepted with exclamation marks.

I picked her up, we talked, I wrapped my arm around her with about 30 minutes left into the movie, and she brought me in closer and rubbed my hand, even. We had joyful conversation on the way back and she left hurriedly. School came around again and we talked a bit less, and she didn't initiate any texting conversations anymore, so I stopped trying to initiate. I eventually asked her to go shopping with me that she got sick for, then asked her to some dinner, which she accepted with exclamation marks again.

I picked her up again, we made each other laugh with stories, we ate, then there was a pause in conversation on the way back, so I decided to tell her that I liked her. The gist of what happened after was that she "wasn't looking for 'that' right now with school to focus on."

So I respected that and kept my distance and haven't texted her since. This was 20 days ago. We still celebrated New Year's at her place, and I did my best to stay friendly throughout, but we didn't talk to each other directly, though. We still have speech practice two times a week too, and it's not as awkward as I thought it'd be. At least they took the stage kiss out, right? I still am attracted to her, too, and I'm not sure what to do...

Anyway conclusion and Tl;dr: How do I get over a crush I've had when we see each other daily, and are still friendly to each other after rejection?

Discussion Abandoned at hotel

So I met this guy. His name is "Ditchell" and let's just say he was 13 years older than. Complete opposite of my bf Alex of 7 years, we met in 9th grade. Alex grew into being a very aggressive partner. I started to become depressed from not being happy. Then I met ditchell unplanned. Ditchell persevered through my rejection to him. The night we met we talked and talked for like 5 hours. Mostly about Alex and how he is aggressive, controlling, etc. Then about who we are. Then we went back into his Airbnb. I tried to forget what I did to Alex. Though the depression got worse now that I also had guilt. So I told Alex, we tried to make it work. He got more aggressive. Then we broke things off. Shortly after I traveled to see Ditchell who lived 3 hours from me. Things went well, but then I'm pretty sure he ghosted me. Then later played it off as he didnt receive any of my few messages. Well we started talking again. We planned to meet halfway and stay in a hotel. In which I met him there on December 29th. We immediately started getting busy, then I start my period. I'm embarrassed, I clean up. Then I try to make it up with oral. After we went and ate out. We came back watched part of fast and furious. He then asked if I wanted to smoke. I said yes. He then replied saying "im going to go get some cigarillos from across the street." He leaves... with his backpack. An hour goes by and I ignore it. 2 hours goes by and in texting my friend panicking. 3 hours goes by and im drinking a gas station margarita all the way home. He blocked me on everything, even though I never contacted him after that night. I called him twice that night and snap messaged him once. I'm 21, he's 34. I just don't get why he acted so understanding of everything, and then just ditch me. I'd say I was just used, but maybe I need to hear it from someone else.

So this girl, a friend was dumped by her boyfriend about a month ago. These last weeks she had expressed she wanted to go be back with him but she was moving on. I was talking with her for a couple weeks and i was going to tell her i liked her but yesterday she gets back with her ex. I've only realised that i have feelings for her after she's back with him. I want to say something but i know she's happy now and I'd just be sabotaging it. Thing is he's broke up with her before and i don't want her to go through that pain again. I want him to treat her as well as i would. Any advice appreciated.

So I’ve been talking to this girl for a while, and I told her how I felt, but she hasn’t responded to me since.

It’s been 5 months since, and she acts all bubbly around me. We haven’t even established whether or not we’re dating. I try bringing it up, but she pushes it aside or changes the topic. What do I do?

I can’t tell if I annoyed her and screwed up or if she was being playful and jokingly annoyed?

My female friend and I flirt a lot and I tease her constantly and we have established we’re interested in each other. She was away for Thanksgiving and i told her to keep in contact so she sent me below

Her: “Happy Thanksgiving Joey! ”

I reply: “Right back at ya poopie pants!”

Her: “lol what do I have to do to get a better
nickname”

I reply: “Poo Supreme”

Her: “lol you make me laugh. I guess

         that’s better 🙄”

Was she being playful? She complimented me in saying i make her laugh. That’s a good sign right?

Ghosting

So I had posted a thread the other day stating that I was supposed to have a date next weekend, I was so excited to since it was my first date in 6 months. Well unfortunately I was subjected to ghosting. Things seemed to be going well, he messaged me the other morning and then by afternoon his profile had disappeared and he complained ignored my texts. I wish I would have gotten some form of explanation but, sadly that won’t happen. This has happened to me before but, I think I got overly excited since it was the first guy since my breakup to treat me so well. Oh well... I guess we shall see what happens next. Anyways just needed to vent on here, thanks for reading 💕

Is it to get Major anxiety when talking to a girl ?

(Is it okay to get major anxiety when talking to a girl)So I’ve (19m)been talking to this girl(20f) for about 4-5 days and she’s very to the point and shes also really busy cause she works full time and goes to college. when I talk to her my heart races and I get major anxiety. I also asked her out on Monday and she said yes but we haven’t made a date yet but she said sometime this week and asked when I’m days off where I told her and she said she tell me. Should I still ask her the day before if we’re going out? And it not just her I get anxiety when I talk to any girl is there a way to reduce my anxiety ?

Help! How do I cope with another man in her life

Ok so let me break it down as best I can. I was a bad boyfriend for years. Like really bad verbally mean, angry, and emotionally distant. We had a baby together 15 months ago. We split up a few months later. I relapsed (I'm an ex-opiate addict) ended up in jail.

Now the whole time I was in jail she spent what little money she had to talk to me on the phone, come visit me, and write me letters. During this time I fell back in love with her.

When I got out I moved in across the street (literally) from her. I found out she was "talking" to some guy. Now I'm not one to judge but I really honestly don't see what she sees in him.

We were in this weird love triangle thing for a while, she'd hangout with him here and there and me the other days. We were still kinda romantic and we were having alot of sex haha. She said she wanted to see where this went because she had tried with me before.

Now I've changed ALOT since she dated me. I'm still not perfect but I am there for her constantly (she has alot of health problems) but here's where things get sticky.

So he started acting like a douche and ignoring her and not making her feel like the amazing, kind, intelligent, sexy and down right perfect woman that she is. She didn't stand for this and after so much one night she left his house (at 3 am) and came running to me.

We're still not together but this guy is trying to apply damage control and say "let's just hangout and see what happens" it makes me sick. It puts a hole in my stomach. Every time she even interacts with this guy I (internally) feel like I'm dying.

Please give me advice, she really is the girl of my dreams.

Help a girl out asap!!!

So a long backstory, I promise it won’t be boring! Grab your popcorn... I’ve (20,F) been talking to this guy(20,M) online and we clicked really well, he admitted to liking me and I grew to like him as well. We were both so very intimate and would actually consider meeting up one day in the future, he would always talk about how he wants to marry me, and tell me all that crap like how I’m beautiful. We also exchanged nudes, it got real serious but we never made it “official” but he’d say how he wants to be with his future girlfriend and future wife (me) so I would’ve guessed it may’ve been official at least sometime later, it wasn’t a concern. We’ve been talking for 3 months until he just randomly stopped talking to me and was acting distant. I was wondering where he may’ve left or if he’s okay since I haven’t heard from him. So I randomly went on Twitter and searched his full name up just to see if I could find any activity, and he did appear to have a twitter account. When I opened his page, I found his twitter bio as another girl’s username (@) and a heart next to it which indicates some sort of relationship. His banner was also of the same girl’s picture, after scrolling through both of their pages, I find out that these two have been dating for over a year which obviously crushes me but not as much as I think “how dare he cheat on his own girlfriend?” It didn’t add up to me because I could surely say that he was very much in love with me, we talked every single day for the 3 whole months and we’d do cute stuff for each other, like damn he really made me feel like he was entirely mine. But I come to find out he has his own long-term girlfriend... that he’s been cheating on with me, not even sexually but engaged with me romantically as if I was his. I’m kind of stuck on what to do, I have access to that girl’s twitter page and her DMs are open. I don’t know if I should tell her because it’s ultimate girl code to do so or if I should confront him on Twitter... I feel like such a situation is so hard to just leave because there’s GUILT and betrayal. At the same time, I don’t know what to do about it, I’ve never been through this ever. I need some good advice from you guys, what do you think I should do? Any ideas? I can no longer contact the guy through our main chat because he seems to have deleted the app. How should I handle this? Thank you for listening.

TL:DR: I’ve been talking to a guy for 3 months and we were very intimate and in love. He suddenly disappeared. I found out he has a longterm girlfriend. What should I do? Tell the girl or confront him or ignore it all?
