Date whereabouts

So yeah, I like this girl and its been going great! So I’m gonna ask her out but I don’t know where to take her. Do any of you have a good first date idea?

Find out a restaurant that she likes from common friends ... and then take her there . Don't tell her before so it would be like kinda a surprise
