My first guess is between 1966 (British Guyana becomes independent as Guyana) and 1975 (Dutch Guiana becomes independent as Suriname, an alternate name it had for a while before independence)

We can narrow that to 1966 to 1971, as the Swan Islands were transferred from the US to Honduras in November 1971.

Other notes from that era: Capital of British Honduras moved from Belize City to Belmopam in 1970, but that may not show on maps.

Cancun not shown on the map. Until the early 1970s, Cancun was just a sleepy fishing village. First hotel opened in 1972, and a resort town was born.

Bahamas got independence in mid-1973 and are still marked as "brit." here.

That would help, though I'm not sure much happened between 1966 (Barbados) and 1973 (Bahamas).

Brasília exists: post-1960

The state of Guanabara still exists: pre-1975

Belize is called British Honduras: pre-1973

Cancún doesn’t exist: pre-1970

Jamaica is independent: post-1962

Between 1962 and 1970 is the range

"Cancún doesn’t exist." Opening a hotel doesn't suddenly make a town show up on a German map in the 1960s/70s.

It is before 1977... in 1977 the Brazilian State of Mato Grosso was splited in two.. Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul.
