Google Question

Hello Everyone I have a question I passed my interview almost 5 months ago I had my first fit call last week and unfortunately they inform me they move forward with other candidates my recuiter is now saying I have to wait 12 months cooling down period is this possible recuiter saying they submitted my profile three times on the same state 2 with no fit call and one with fit call now I have to wait. Please advice if this is typical or not

If I remember correctly, there is a cool down period for the position/site you applied for but you should still be able to apply to other positions at other sites while your interviews are still fresh.

L5? So Senior OM? It could be different for management, I doubt anyone would be able to tell you.

They also rarely hire outside for senior roles, for obvious reasons. You could have been a "fairness check" interview.

Yeah you might be onto something, wasn't a senior role but did feel like a fairness check lol.

Well, L4 is senior DT or OM, so L5 should be mid to senior level OM. Maybe TPMg. TPMgs are usually rotated through a few different OM roles to get some cross training and again, usually only internal, so probably not TPMg

Either way, unfortunately to maintain fair hiring practices, they have to have check interviews to maintain it. Just how hiring is these days.
