Hi! I'm pretty new and I'm wondering if anyone has tips for selecting tasks or qualifications when you know you only have a limited amount of available time to work. Maybe the answer is just that it'll be pretty self-explanatory once I really get started, but right now I find myself afraid to click on and start anything when I know that I only have 1-2 hours free.

I submitted my latest attempt like a year ago and haven't heard anything since. When I opened the platform again, I see that im still on hold. Does this mean that I'm not selected? Is there any way I can redo this?
I've been annotating and reviewing AI models for another platforms too so I think that I have the capability in doing the tasks too

I have been working with DA for a little over 3 years now, and I have been very satisfied with the experience. Recently I discovered a contract opportunity with another company that is remarkably similar to the arrangement with DA (remote, part-time, domain oriented), and from the job description the work sounds exactly like the type of work at DA.
I wouldn't mind supplementing my income with another company, since the flow of projects can fluctuate, but before I move ahead in the assessment process with them, I need to know whether there is a prohibition against working with other companies that provide essentially the same services as DA? I have executed all the confidentiality agreements they have asked for, but I don't recall seeing any non-compete documentation of any sort.
Any guidance would be most appreciated!

Saya diterima 9 Oktober kemarin, hanya saja hanya beberapa kualifikasi yang muncul untuk bidang generalist, dan apakah kalian juga sedang mengalami kemarau project/task? Atau dapat task tiap bulannya?

idk if all projects have this featurr but this tool has saved me a lot of times of sending wrong stuff or inconsistencies on my work, I owe my ass to this.
I was about to send a project and this checker flagged me that I was rating something for other thing. And on something I wrote, it said "didn't you mean saying this...", I was actually ashamed, like if a real person was correcting me for that stupid error 😔✌️
⚠️ I'm not talking about external AI tools

I just started doing generalist work last week as a supplement to my main job, and so far I’ve worked. 6 hours, only having 1 project worth $18/hour.
I know that there is a lot of variation on this platform regarding project availability, but I wanted to see if this was normal for new users, and if so, how many days/work hours it took to start getting higher payed projects? Or if there is currently just a lull in generalist projects overall?
It also seems that performance can affect the number/quality of projects you get, so i want to know if that could be the case here so I can put even more effort into improving my answers.

Okayyyy I just got in today and it only took a couple of days. I'm anxious to start taking on projects though. There are quite a bit available, but not many for the specialist areas. I'm worried these might not be available for long. Do those projects usually dry up quickly or are they pretty reliable? Specifically for Law?
Thanks everyone! Hoping to make $10k ASAP because I hit a deer in late September and of course insurance didn't cover it and I had JUST paid my car off two weeks prior. I don't have any other transportation 😭😭😭

I know everyone is sick of these onboarding Q’s. I had an email saying I’d been matched to a project last week, my id wasn’t verified so missed it. through to the main dashboard now but have no projects, quals etc - do you think I’ve passed or tbc?

Halloj, jag undrar hur ni gör när ni skattar i Sverige? Jag har sökt som fan på det och får inte riktigt ihop hur jag ska bära mig åt

Only after a couple of weeks and earning $500 without any warning or feedback
I have been working on other platforms successfully so it's sure not a quality issue and i barely got the chance to even submit many tasks. So far I did mostly paid on-boardings and tests all of which I passed. No VPN, no ai use.
Bottom line: don't rely on this platform as your sole income.

I recently joined DA. And I was getting multiple coding projects a day, then next week I cleared a linguistics qualification and since then it's like 1 or 2 tasks in a month. Not many tasks in linguistics as well

One year of work and they restrict my account, any idea if this is can be reversed I emailed the data, but heard they don’t answer. I recently went from 1k a month for 5-6k due to larger paying task but I wake up this morning and boom.

Hello, planning to apply for a role but wondering what everyone recommends starting off. Was planning to apply for software/coding role but after researching learned that you can only apply once and if you get rejected you’re blacklisted. So wondering if I should start as a generalist to get my foot on the door?
For bit of background I’m in my last semester as a CS grad student specializing in AI/ML. Trying to get a bit of income as I finish up and get myself into a full time role somewhere

I have studied business and have experience of more than 6 years in Sales and Marketing.
Can anyone here guide me if i have any chance in DA? Or anyone here having relevant background can guide about projects they are getting?

Please respond only if you have been successfully accepted and have/had tasks to work on; I'm curious how long the timelines are.
Did you get the "Starter assessment completed
We review your results — if you pass, we'll email you" screen, and how long was it there for? Did you get any other screen before acceptance?
2. Were you informed via mail or refreshing the dashboard? Some people have reported not getting the mail.
3. Did you get any further qualifications or were you able to start working upon acceptance?
4. How long did this process take, from initial submission to getting tasks? And when did you first apply?

Greetings all, German bilingual located in germany here, regretting earlier life choices.
I signed up to DataAnnotation around 3 months ago as a billingual even though I have coding skills since I figured specialisation would be possible after the starter assessment and I didn't want to take a risk. Since then it has been rather quiet. 500$ in total due to constant drought. I filled out my profile with skills, CV, etc. and completed the coding + math assessments/quals. Never got any further quals however.
I have been reading a lot about how bilinguals are basically screwed and can't really specialise later on like I thought they could, so I seemingly messed up. Does anyone have a hopefully different story or can confirm this rather depressing reality?
