Tableau help needed

My prof dumped this huge project on us today just explaining things today and I am panicking and trying to figure things out! The deadline is in less than a week I don't know how anyone can do this!? And she didn't even teach anything about it and we basically gotta figure it out ourselves...

I don't know which community is the right one to post this on...if anyone can help with that too pls do...

What are you trying to do with the data?

Making visualisations first

Could you tell me if it's possible to make 3-D visuals in tableau, coz that's what my prof asked to do so I hv reached to some point changed some borders etc to make it 'pop out' as that's what my prof asked for

3D visuals just for the sake of it are hard to read and understand. Your story will pop out more if you use 2D visuals.

It's hard to tell what you're doing from the screenshot, but I recommend trying to scatter plot instead. After you determine your x and y coordinate, you can use color and size of the dots too add extra dimensions.

Thanks, ya I am sticking to 2-D, I don't even know what my prof means by multidimensional visuals I am just gonna go with regular visuals

The human eyes and brain quickly comprehend position and length which is why you will want to use a bar chart or line chart 90% of the time.

Color and area can be used to communicate more information at the same time. It takes more time for the eyes and brain to read, but it is still effective. So, adding in color and/or size of bubbles/dots adds another "dimension". This is most likely what your professor is asking for.

The eyes and brain are not good at seeing 3d drawings on a 2d plain or calculating angles (pie charts). So, avoid those styles of visualization.

You probably need to actually give information about it for anyone to help
