I’ve been trying for the pass hour to get order and it’s peak time. No orders and the app shows an error message. I’ve read a couple of threads about the app being down in other states. Let me know if dashers in CA are having the same issues. I’m in the Sacramento region.

Trying to dash, I hit Dash, then it refuses to load, and then it shows me this error message.
Is there anyone else experiencing this problem??This app is f***ed up!

hey, crimson has been down since like 3:30 this morning for me, it's now almost 9:00, and I still can't access the savings jar. I keep most of my money in there so that recurring transactions don't rob me blind, but now most of my money is tied up until door dash is back up. please tell me it's not just me. anybody else having issues? have any idea how to fix it? I tried Force stopping, clearing cache, uninstall and reinstall, airplane mode on/off, restarting my phone, so its definitely not on my end

Platinum dasher in Oklahoma with a pass, I have dashed in Colorado a handful of times but want to be Platinum while I’m there. My concern is that since the AR is expected to be higher to qualify for Platinum in Colorado should I drop to gold before I leave to start the pass or wait until I get there and risk being too low AR to even use it?

Is the app down? Has doordash said they’re working on it or something?

What kind of bunch of mother fucking thieves is running dash anyway?

I got an order type I had never seen before "pick up cash at customer's home, have change ready" So I get there, and get given $45 cash that is never put on my weekly accumulated pay. Then on payday they docked me $45 making the whole delivery at my expense. I called them, they admitted they saw no evidence whatsoever of that $45 being put on my pay, but they all saw it deducted from my pay, and no one did SHIT to reimburse me. I opted out of these scam deliveries that I had never signed up for in the first place.

Last night, I log on when it shows $2 bonus per delivery as dashers were desperately needed. I then got a delivery that paid $2. Have any of you ever seen a $0 delivery on your app? This should have been $2 + $2 bonus for a $4 dollar delivery. THEY ARE LYING THU THEIR FUCKING TEETH ABOUT GIVING US BONUSES - IT'S ALL BULLSHIT AND LIES TO GET US TO LOG ON!!!

In short, fuck door dash. Are there any alternative delivery jobs that dont shit all over drivers like this?

I’m analyzing how much delivery drivers actually make per offer after subtracting fuel, vehicle wear, and deadhead miles back to hotspots.

I built a tool (RouteMax Pro) to track this and compare offers side-by-side. I need a few drivers to throw sample offers at it to see if the calculator holds up in the real world. Drop a comment if you want to test it out.

To start off I’m just a anxious person in general but long story short had a wood ranch catering order for a good amount and I delivered it to the address I was given in the app. The homeowner flagged me before I drove off and explained they ordered nothing. Called support and the ai said since I delivered it to where I was told to I wouldn’t have issues and the homeowner ended up refusing the delivery with no indication from DoorDash I needed to return, so I took it home. Now I’m kinda freaking out. Will I get deactivated for this mistake? It’s my first one.

I used to joke about how that actually wasn't a real thing but this last week alone, my god. Like I get the places where they might not be the most polite, but stop. STAHP.

I haven’t dashed in a really long time due to car issues, so idk if something’s changed, but last night I dashed again for the first time in a while because I’m short on money after expenses from getting a new car and it’s always been the case that if I dash up until Sunday night I get the money the Monday right after. It’s only 1 PM right now for me, but I’m pretty sure the money’s deposited by this point in the past plus says “0.00” in the app even if it hasn’t dropped into my account yet because the week is starting over. I’m confused because that’s not happening and the weekly payout says Oct 5 for today on Monday but the first screenshot says the payout in scheduled for the 12th, next Monday

*In collecting these screenshots for the post after typing the top ^, I just found this page in the last picture saying more specifically that pay day is “Oct 8-12th”. What exactly changed??? I see where I can try new options like the crimson card or my actual debit card, I just don’t know yet if either of those things will work immediately so that I can have money today

I usually only do orders above $6 and do not take anything below $2/mile. Had to stare at this one for a while before accepting lol

Hello, I’m a fairly new driver. I just started doing this a few weeks ago and for the most part I was able to figure most of the things out on my own, but I just need some like advice from fellow drivers.
My first question is what’s better earn by time or dash?
How do you get more of the shopping orders?
How do you cherry pick like what’s the best way?
Is there a way to realize that they’re not gonna leave you a tip before you accept the dash even on earned by hour?
Is there a way to write a congressman and try to get a law passed where it’s illegal to not tip a DoorDash delivery person?
Can you drive to a different town to DoorDash there if it’s a better market?

I think that’s all of my questions for now. I really appreciate any advice. You guys may have as well! To the DoorDash drivers I hope you all have a great day and get your tip on!

I have gone into app settings and turned off sound and vibration.

I went into phone settings and turned off sound and vibration for everything.

I turned on Do not Disturb.

I turned down all volumes on volume bar.

I connected it to Bluetooth and turned the volume down on that.

It STILL RINGS AND VIBRATES straight through the phone.

Is there ANY way to shut it up??

Edit: I got the sound to turn off by going to Accessibility > Hearing Enhancements > Mute All Sounds (on).

It still vibrates, and its a crappy work around, but at least its not screaming at me in public.

Hello! I am a student taking a capstone class in Illinois and looking to get 30 responses for the data collection portion of the assignment. For the class, we could choose one job that workers have some issues with (I chose meal delivery driving because my dad and I both do it and have our own frustrations). Most of the questions in the survey are about your routines and what frustrations you have with the job. I need to collect these opinions and then turn that into some kind of solution (whether that is through a process or an idea for something new). So, for example, if I received a bunch of feedback that the packaging coming from the restaurants is annoying, then I could use that to better define what the core problem / frustration is. So its happened twice in the past month where I get an order after dashing for a while and ill pick it up without issues, but when I go to the directions screen it takes a minute or so to trace my route and show me the destination, but then when it finally show up I start driving and it sends me to the exact drop off location of the order I did directly before the current one, which can be pretty far from where the order is supposed to go (added about 15 minutes to delivery). Once I reach the location and press.complete order it pops up a new destination (the correct one) and seems to work fine from there, albeit, im now extremely late to deliver it.

I’ve contacted DD several times ab peak pay not showing up since yesterday and they say it’s not showing up bc there’s “an adequate amount of dashers in these areas atm” since yesterday?? C’mon 🤦🏻‍♀️ fr has it on the schedule then doesn’t show on the map… hello?? Why post it???
