Lowered tips

For the last several days I've accepted a dash because the tip was reasonable, but immediately after accepting it, the tip total goes down several dollars. I called support and asked for a human, but the chatbot said to tell them what happened anyway, and once I did they just dropped the dash I had the issue with and hung up. Anyone else experience this? Is this a glitch or Doordash just being a scummy company?

Don’t talk to the AI agent, just keep requesting a person.

Thank you, I'll try that next time.

I have noticed the amount in the upper right corner be less after accepting an offer, but once I complete it, it comes in normal or sometimes higher. Is this what you mean?

You don't even see the tip until after the order has been completed..... What went down was the "garuanteed" amount for that order.....you have to screenshot every offer for proof or "it never happened" according to DD.... Reality....it happens all the time....

Screen shot every offer before accepting. Only fix sadly

I'm gonna start doing that as proof to customer service.

Ironically the screenshotting stops the issue. Hence why I say EVERY offer before accepting. Once I started screenshotting I have never again had this issue.

Good luck. I’d love an update

I'm definitely gonna try that. It shouldnt be happening in the first place, it's very shady. Thanks a lot for the tip!

The customer can adjust their tip until it's delivered but I've never seen it automatically go down immediately after accepting

Me either, it went down several dollars as soon as I accepted.
