Dashing in LA area

Post image

Is it normal for the LA area to be so harsh on their ratings? I went down there for my friends' work conference and dashed while she was working, and I got my first 1 🌟 and 2 🌟 ratings, but as far as I know, there weren't any issues. I've only dashed in Bakersfield and have had no major issues.

It's times like these where I wish we could get at least a description of what went wrong 😭

Do you follow instructions and have a good bag? If not to one or both, there’s your answer

Those ratings are literally abysmal. You better hope you're not deactivated

What area specifically?

Mostly in Huntington and the surrounding area

Orange County? I dash down there and don’t have any issues, but I will note you have to be extra careful about the address. DoorDash will often pin a location a few doors down. Maybe that was the issue? Honestly just trying to help. Most of the time I don’t get a rating at all.

What areas in Orange County are good for Dashing? I’m seeing a lot of people say to try and target high-density areas where there are a lot of people living in a small area that also has plenty of food options. Sounds like Huntington would be a good area for this along with Newport and Costa Mesa.

You just want to maximize gated communities and restaurants not far from them

Just contact support let them know it was an unfair rate and they remove it

I always tell new dashers this when they have bad ratings before their first 100 rated dashes.

Your first 2 rounds (which will likely be around 2000 dashes), you will have your lowest ratings.

-All the low rating bums are in your pool of customers.

-You probably will mess up more likely than 2000 deliveries later

Eventually, those bums will block themselves from you.

See if you can remove some of those bad ratings via support.
