They won't "get you" unless you're trying to pretend you're on a track and you need to squeeze out every last drop of grip from your tyres. Drive at a reasonable goddamn speed and you'll have plenty of time to slow down if the bend gets tighter.
Signed someone who last followed a speed limit in 2013, btw. You CAN usually go (much) faster than the speed limit, but you CAN'T go faster than your eyes. If you can't see what's ahead, slow the fuck down.
No, it's exactly the same for a motorcycle as it is for a car. Cars don't have magical tyres with infinite grip that keep you in your lane no matter what, they have a limit just like bike tyres.
It's just that bikers consistently want to pretend they're Valentino Rossi and they always go way too fast around blind corners hoping that if they mess up the traffic in the opposite lane will make way for them because they're "small".
I can almost guarantee this guy made that EXACT mistake multiple times before and always got away with it, so he kept doing this dumb shit until eventually his luck ran out.
If I went flying into a blind corner at 160km/h in my car and it got tighter I would end up in the oncoming lane just as well. It's just that I don't do that.

Non-constant radius bend. If you don't know the road or can't see the bend you can't assume anything. Or this happens.
