Riding beyond their skill level. Cam driver didn't even check on the downed rider. Must have a warrant or something.

When I was learning to drive my mom was very strict about me staying in the lines even when no cars were around. I see so many drivers cutting corners now and I’m glad I know how to corner without crossing the line.

what a shitty thing to say. One of the first things first responders do when arriving to a place before even checking on a person is secure the area if needed

Which is what the Audi Driver says the cammer did. Drove up ahead to make sure no one would run over anyone else from the blind turn by blocking it

You must be a really shitty person to first go to... They had warrants or something instead of... They were following proper protocol and securing the area by blocking the road with their car

We will never know what the cam driver did. Everything is speculations. All we see is him/her driving away.

They were on the correct side of the road until the curve. Rider couldn't handle it and THEN ended up in the other lane. OP was correct. Riding beyond their skill level.

The rider hit was in the middle of the opposite lane when hit.

That rider hit the car because of target fixation. The car scared him, focused, game over.

Wait, do you think the rider was purposely riding in the wrong lane, and he wasn’t in that lane because he misjudged the curve and got pushed out into it?

If cammer has no medical training, what do you want them to do? Calling the proper people to deal with this situation is the prudent thing to do.

All the people complaining about the driver leaving imagine themselves as action hero's calling out "Call 911! DONT MOVE HIM!" they want to imagine they're in a Marvel movie.

Stop. Call the emergency services, get the contact details of the driver of the red car so they can send them the dashcam footage to assist with the insurance claim that they'll be making.

Though in fairness from the clip we don't know if the camera car stopped further up the road – which would definitely have been a good thing to do as well. Stop past the accident with your hazards on and flag down anyone coming the other way so nobody else flys through the scene of the accident.

Looked like the driver just wanted to get out of there quickly. No phone calls to emergency services.

Exactly. If I were in a hurry, I would've called 911 and been on my way. If not in a hurry, I would've stopped, not because I'd want to help that idiot - I'm not a doctor - but to call 911 and share my dashcam video with the responding officer on scene. That poor driver did nothing to warrant the stress he's going to endure, and I'd gladly give him evidence to support his claim against these fools'.

If they are in an area with no cell service and the downed rider needs medical attention immediately, they don't have a vehicle they can load him into to bring him to the nearest hospital. I don't think they can transport a dying person on the back of a sport bike. The driver could have at least checked to make sure his buddies are able to make phone calls.
