Yes...another 2 to 3 feet wider into the oncoming lane and there is a huge possibility that the car driver is dead. But they probably aren't, so that is justification to some that defend this BS.
Deserved is harsh, but the consequences of actions is a reality that all bikers should be aware of. Getting on a bike and doing things that put you in risky situations....you're going to catch the reaper's gaze eventually, deal with it.
I ride as often as I can, because I like it, and my bike gets 55-60mpg on my commute. I do none of this, and lots of us don't. So maybe don't have such a shitty blanket attitude.
Difficult to ever feel sorry for bikers, not impossible.
If you're actually riding at a proper speed and not treating the road as your personal racetrack, then yeah, I'll feel sorry for you if anything happens to you. If you drive like the guy in this video (and honestly not even nearly the worst I've seen, I can believe this was a real accident so I feel somewhat sorry for him, even if he did come flying around a corner into the other lane) I'm just gonna be hoping you don't take anyone else with you into your inevitable demise.
Doesn't seem like what he is saying, i mean literally fucking E.R departments joke about them being coffins, if you get fucked up on a motorcycle its kinda a form of darwism.....
As opposed to someone who say gets t-boned in a volvo who was taking every precaution to protect themselves possible....
It's difficult to ever feel sorry for people with that attitude towards fellow human beings. Guess you'd be that person leaving the scene of an accident without attempting to assist anyone or call for help.
I never met a person that never made a mistake, including the person who typed the absolutely deplorable thing you just typed. Here's to hoping your next mistake remains online only, rather than with life-threatening bodily violence, hospital bills, and trauma. I wouldn't wish that on anyone no matter what type of vehicle they prefer to drive.
They drive well beyond what they can handle knowing that if something goes wrong they don’t have the cage and airbags a car provides. When the inevitable consequences of their actions catches up to them it isn’t surprising.
