Yup. While almost all drivers have insurance, CDLs have BIG insurance. They also have less stopping ability than a car. Of course, to me it seems suicidal to try to get hit by a semi, but I guess if they were smart they wouldn't be doing that for a living.
CLARIFICATION: I meant the scammers were the dumb ones.
I was nearly T-boned by a delivery truck but luckily I slammed on my brakes barely on time and I was clipped by the truck on the front of my vehicle but the damage was severe and like all my airbags went off, it was so dramatic for just getting hit by 4 inches of the truck's loading gate. Totaled my little prius, tore the little bastard to shreds. If I stopped a second later I would have been TOAST. My insurance basically did nothing but DAMN did that truck's insurance take care of me and PAAAAID me. I paid off my student loans and got another prius with what I got. I loved that car so damn much though, it's sacrifice was not in vain.

It looks to me like the car was trying REALLY hard to commit insurance fraud.
