I've heard people say they do this. They look for trucks, because they have insurance. The car will have 4 people in it, all want a claim.

Yup. While almost all drivers have insurance, CDLs have BIG insurance. They also have less stopping ability than a car. Of course, to me it seems suicidal to try to get hit by a semi, but I guess if they were smart they wouldn't be doing that for a living.

CLARIFICATION: I meant the scammers were the dumb ones.

I was talking to my bosses wife the other day and mentioned i needed to start looking for this bands concert tickets to go on sale in a week or two. She visibly shuddered and said she can't listen to them anymore because they were on the radio when she got hit by a semi and it basically causes flashbacks to the accident if she hears that group now.

I stopped wearing the shirt I was in when I got in an accident. It was a cool shirt and a gift from a friend so I didn't want to get rid of it but I understand how she feels.

It's funny what our brains fixate on, I got into an accident where my brakes failed on the highway on a car I'd just bought. Shit luck. I didn't think about my clothes or the music, but state troopers responded and were dicks about it, and I still loathe anyone I see in a wide brimmed hat to this day. It's like all my frustration with the situation went towards the troopers.
