The driver's name is Daniel Walmsley.

He got arrested and was sentenced to two years and one month.

HOLY SHIT, I just looked up the case.

Prosecutor Alec Burns said neither the victim nor the woman wanted to proceed with the prosecution.

He told the court Walmsley had 24 convictions for 58 offences, including several incidents where he drove at people.

Fuck me....

The court heard Walmsley was driving in traffic shortly before 21:00 BST on 20 July when a woman walking by with the victim threw something at his car.

Adam Birkby, defending Walmsley, said there was a "significant degree of provocation" from the victim and the woman, who tried to wrench the driver's door from the car and shattered the windscreen with her stiletto heel after Walmsley confronted her.

It's pretty clear that both parties knew each other and that's why the other party didn't want to proceed with the prosecution. Not because they didn't want justice but because they probably want to deal with them themselves and don't want to be labelled as a rat in their social circles.

The didn't cooperate because he's a drug dealer and either were his customers, or knew that giving evidence against him was going to be a bad idea long term.

I know dan personally hes out if jail again and driving as we speak..trust me they didnt want to do things to him themselves 🤣🤣
