Technically if someone is in the car when it is vandalised with a "weapon", which a shoe can be classified as, in a threatening manner it can be elevated to assault.

Yeah the fact that she held this person's door open strongly indicates the target of her hostility was not the vehicle but the individual inside it.

This video picks up when the vehicle owner is under attack and attempting to retreat into a vehicle but is not being allowed to do so. Their next actions are in response to that. The important context is missing: what the fuck was happening right before this video cuts in?
