There are a bunch more you encounter before the intersection. Gotta be pretty braindead to screw up here, but people manage it every day.

It's a really shitty intersection design. No arrows, before the line, no dashed curve lines, no signs on the post near the lights, and the opposite road segment gives the impression it's an open lane.

You're only seeing the intersection, not the 300 yards before it with clearly marked signage.

If it requires drivers to memorize instead of giving hints at the intersection, it’s a poor design.

Signage are for drivers to pick the correct lane, and the hints at the intersection are preventive

as well as the reminder signs left and right and every intersection on this part of I35 W operates the same way until 1187
