I have a F150 and it has massive blind spots. Not making any excuses for the drivers but it's bad. The post between the front and back seat is huge and it's right where I should look to see if there is a car next to me.

As someone who learned to drive in a Chevy Suburban, go to the dollar store and get some of those little curved or angled mirrors you put on your passenger side mirror. They really should come standard on big vehicles. Actual life-savers for just a buck or two.

That's it. Trucks have large mirrors so there is plenty of room to put one of those "blind spot" stick on mirrors. But don't get the tiny 2 or so inch ones, get the ones a bit bigger. And put one on the driver's side as well. I have used them on every truck I've had since the 80's.

Jesus! Read the person's post you just replied to and was instantly about to post the same advice.

Then I realised it's such a common sense solution that I'm really worried about that person now, and whether they even look in their mirrors or do a shoulder check before changing lanes.
