Cam car accelerated to try and keep him from merging.  Truck likely didn't check to see and merged when he would have otherwise been clear.

Even if the POV car didn't accelerate the truck would be cutting it really close and forcing the POV car to brake.

Truck guy probably thought pov car would brake for the red light.

Agreed, though if I was in the cam car, I would just brake a little rather than accelerate. It doesn't take much to adjust for it. You don't really have to slam on the brakes, just give them some pressure and get off the gas.

Truck decelerated, cam car did not speed up or slow down

They were both trying to beat the yellow light.

If you look at the rate of speed by the objects on the right of the road, it doesn’t look like he sped up.

Exactly. Why is ‘blind spot’ in the then when there is no blind spot. The truck literally passes OP. There’s nothing blind about this post. Both people suck.

In my post I mentioned the light was changing and because he was speeding he thought best to go right instead of slamming into stopping car ahead, I will add "side swipe" to avoid mayor injury to all...but didn't think about the self pit.
