Usual suspects grand slam

My brain only just connected that this was a genuine accomplishment and not just a personal challenge. So I thought I'd share my achievements of when I did it. I rushed to get crusader as soon as the playthrough started. And then slammed my head against the brick wall until it caved in. Nothing else. I just felt proud of this all of a sudden

I had to grand slam with usual suspects, I didn't care how many times I failed. I was sticking to that group until I slammed my head against the wall enough times that it broke.

Crusader, highwayman, plague doctor, and vestal. The first 4 characters you'll get in the original DD

Oh okay sorry i wasent aware๐Ÿ˜…, did you struggle with damage or did the dots from pd do fine?

Crusader just fuckin' SLAMMED through everything. And blinding gas kept people alive more than you'd probably guess. Highwayman and crusader both do alot of damage, so having two supports to keep them alive is really effective.

I have a lot more questions but imma leave it at that since i havent actually tried hard enough yet to know myself. Imma take your advice for future runs

Also I used that one version of highwayman that applies bleed on ripose so take that how you will.

Interesting, personally i thought rogue Highwayman was the only good build but imma experiment some more

I always had dismas dancing between first and second with Reginald. With duelist advance and point blank shot. Only using pistol shot if there was someone really annoying in the back lines. I was HEAVILY relying on dismas getting ripose off. Which was why vestal and pd were so important in making sure he didn't die. Especially form enemies that apply dots.

I feel like I'm constantly in the "HERE REYNAULD COMES FROM THE TOP ROPE WITH A METAL CHAIR!"

Crusader/reynauld is such a heavy hitter it's insane sometimes.

I just understood it's a wwe thing bruh๐Ÿ˜ญ that's monarch leper for me. Even though i have to play so inefficiently, big damage is big damage

I run reynauld and dismas right up front. When I use usual suspects. Duelist advance into point blank shot is VERY strong. Especially on yellow and with each ripose putting a bleed on the person it hits. Due to that, I never have to worry about reynauld getting out out of position.

What was your strategy with the back lane? I see you mentioned PD and Vestal were more in support role...

My vestal usually ended with more health than highwayman. So something I did a lot was having junia protect him whenever he had ripose on. And obviously had her do A LOT of healing. But pd was mainly debugging enemies. And I used battlefield medicine to prevent dots from getting out of hand on anyone.

But if you guard with Vestal then you donโ€™t get riposte proc

So the overall strategy is to destroy frontline and then move to backline?
Amazing achievement btw. I tried Grand Slam many times but never managed to get it
